Without death penalty, crimes no matter their severity, will become attractive to everyone. Killing your enemies wilk be eassy, cos highest it's life imprisonment, with the possibility of pardon, after putting in half the years.

The useless UN is only bluffing, because Nigeria would ignore the suggestion,as she has always historically done with Western advices.
Why do we think Obama refused to visit Nigeria during his time as US president?
It's not because of insecurity.
Obama only visited weak and gullible African countries that could be manipulated to adopt his useless LGBTQ agenda.He leveraged on the issue of ammunition for fighting BH,to manipulate GEJ( God bless him) to legalizing gay marriage,but got woefully disappointed.
The refusal to supply arms by the accursed Obama administration, didn't stop Nigeria sourcing for and getting them elsewhere.
Nigeria is too strong willed to fall under Western influence, and that has given her a great deal of respect internationally.
The useless Blinken included Nigeria in his visit to try to ramp up African support for the Israel bombing of Gaza, but he's failed woefully because Nigeria would always retain her position.
Every other motive will equally fail.

We are even so vexed now more than before with the mindless and heinous crimes being committed these days with not visible commensurate punishment.

We need a strong deterrence and only the return of firing squads will "cool our temper".

The masses may resort to public lynching on an industrial scale of apprehended criminals if the government succumbs to such counsel.

The UN should channel this advice to Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Some states in USA and others

The UN should focus on addressing the poverty which has killed more people than the death penalty..

Countries that have truly enforced the death penalty have the least crime...

High cost of living , no jobs, low staff welfare and emoluments, and a very clueless government that has no money but bought cars first and paid bonuses as their first accomplishment.

nor be only kidnappers get monopoly to killing . Serious firing squad or lethal injections is needed in Nigeria. We can't continue feeding skull ☠️ miners and Kidnappers , food with Tax payers money.
SB is at Home 🏠 ,they will whisk away for 60million and 100million ransom in country minimum wage is 30k Naira. And murder them with impunity if criminals deadlines are not met.
Police/army cannot trace most cases and rescue them. Most victims family are left at mercy of kidnappers.

The Nigerian situation is very outrageous. Firing squad is needed. But then again, more world bank billion dollars 💰 loan is also needed by our leaders who have borrowed away the future of this country and kept generations unborn in debt. More World 🌎 Bank, international ✈️✈️✈️ and IMF loans are needed, so there will also be more to loot and stash in offshore pandora accounts in Switzerland,UK, etc. Our leaders will soon do the biddings of their puppet masters

The number of extra judicial killings far outweighs the number of judicial executions annually so asking Nigeria to end the death penalty is pointless!

There are criminals on death row for many years who the Governors have refused to sign their death warrants but the police, army and other arm of the government (bandits and UGM) kill Nigerians daily! The bad roads kill Nigerians daily! The lack of health care kills Nigerians daily! Plead with the government to tackle these

Meanwhile, does anyone know the US is one of the few countries where the death penalty still exists. But watch as they(US) would want other countries to follow suit after they have abolished it in the states where it’s still allowed in their own country.

God prescribed death penalty for murderers and kidnappers, you said free them. Have all states in the USA stopped it? Murderers are increasing in number in the country. Their patrons and matrons in power are not signing their death warrants. Now UN is taking the opportunity to ensure this society is forever broken by asking them to to scrap death penalty.

Wait until they come to Ur relations house 🏠, sleeping at home and kill ☠️☠️☠️him/her, dump the body for refusal of ur family to crowfund 60million and 100million , OR wait until they one chance push ur relation out of taxi 🚖 killing him in the name of one chance, then come back to passionately advocate for abolishment of death ☠️ sentence, lethal injections/firinh squad for these miscreants.

We cannot continue to feed these kidnappers and skull miners food with our hard earned Tax payers money. They must be sent to their creator just as they send their victims to their creator. Kidnappers do not deserve watery beans. Kidnappers should not use up space in our already overcrowded & overwhelmed prison facilities. Especially in country like Nigeria, where over 1500inmates escaped from prisons in Abuja and Nationwide during end Sars, --any small chaos massive prison break out.

Tax payers money should be channelled to more important national issues, and in purchasing watery beans for more deserving criminals Deserving of watery beans, especially for non capital crimes criminals. Capital crime on the other hand, must be meted out with capital punishment . Kidnappers who kill, must be killed and quickly sent to paradise to meet their victims.

The Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN) is just a tool to control nations under the guise of "human rights".
The Human Rights Council is not really concerned about death penalty in Nigeria; they are just trying to see how far they can bully nations into submission, using Nigeria as a test case.

UN an ICC which are the US should order and prosecute their leaders who are using our leaders to sponsor banditry in the north of Nigeria .

They should also look into their own gun law in the US . They should use that law to prosecute themselves first.
