Our politicians know how to brainwash and divert the minds of the poor masses. Imagine setting up this shit instead of setting up companies / factories / give loans to small biz / build mobile toilets / .. |

Omobude244: Every local govt in lagos has a recreation center, with facilities in place, even if they loot that does not undermine the benefit of socialization and FUN people had. The recreational centre is accessible to everybody regardless of your party affiliation or tribe. if you are gone, R.i.p |

KIDfurniture: what is brainwash in viewing centre, are they asking for anything in return, did Sanwo olu beg for commendation, the problem with some of you is that you think "criticizing & wailing" is the only side to life. Imagine your parent criticizing everything you do, they never see anything good in whatever you do .. what good wil come out of such r/ship |
Re: Lagos State Sets Up AFCON Viewing Centres Across The State by CHARLOE(m): 9:52am On Jan 24 |
Yes, distract d people with mundane entertainment, away from critical issues, while d looting/pillaging of scarce resources continues unabated. No light in my area since November (Igando, Lagos) n d bills still come in. Businesses are shutting down cos they can't cope with d cost of diesel/pms, naira is tumbling down at speed never seen b4, CFA now has more value than d naira. Poverty has been weaponized against d people to d extent they now suffer from stockholm syndrome. Give us light/uninterrupted electricity, even if thats d only thing u do for Nigerians |

Within a short while they have been able setup viewing centres but cannot do anything to better the life of the citizens. Anybody that wants to watch ball always have where to watch it. So why spending money creating viewing centres. |
