Governor Abdulrazaq Visits Released Nabeeha's Family Members In Abuja by Thonyb2(op): 10:00am On Jan 25, 2024

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, on Wednesday, visited the Nabeeha Alkadiriyahs’ family in Abuja whose kidnapped children were released by their abductors after payment of ransom.

During the visit, the governor spent some time and interacted with the girls who recently regained their freedom from the captors.

In a personal statement released, governor Abdulrazaq said, “I am impressed to see them in high spirits and responding well to their therapies, clearly unbowed to whatever that had happened, and very positive about the future which I’m certain will be better and brighter for them.

“To their parents, whom I had earlier met when the girls were in captivity, I doff my hat for your calm and bold efforts to confront the situation with patriotism and hope in the Almighty. That has greatly paid off.”

He expressed his hearty condolences for the sad loss of Nabeeha and her uncle in the unfortunate circumstances.

“God will comfort the family now and always.

“I trust that the security agencies will hunt down whomever was involved in that incident and similar others; they will not go unpunished.

“We are too strong as a people to bow to the few cowards who target innocent citizens in their nefarious activities,” the governor added.

.ng recalls that the children were abducted in Abuja recently and released after a huge ransom was paid, though two persons lost their lives in the process.

They use cases like this to chase clout.

Our leaders are never proactive,they always wait for things to happen before they show up.

As we speak even Kwara State is not safe. Almost all the States in Nigeria is facing one security challenge or the other, while governors keep on receiving security vote and they do nothing with it.

I think our governors and senators are settling kidnappers monthly. Cos kidnappers will penetrate an expertrate with 4 or 5 armed security agents while a Senator with just two or three security men roam freely.

The only true succor that can come to that family is apprehending those kidnappers that killed their child and meting out the right punishment to them.

Governor will visit, make political statements and return to business as usual with the usual being that they do absolutely nothing about the security of ordinary people except for their immediate family and friends.

Abdulrasaq went to Lagos and accompanied Sanwo Olu to open overpass bridge but he himself has been constructing overpass bridge in Ilorin for over two years now with no end result.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for the role you played back then when my cousins were kidnapped in kaduna, may you never know sadness. From personal experience, this act from the man is not a showoff, it is just who he is. May the woes of the almighty be visited on whoever is directly or indirectly behind the kidnapping and killings in the country.
