Is that the only thing that Lagos has been on the news for? No sentiment, I am not even from Lagos or west but truth be told. If you have been on the news lately, you would have seen a lot of projects commissioned lately in Lagos from rail to health care, not to mention infrastructural development. Even Port Harcourt governor admitted Lagos is a pace setter yesterday. The truth is, if other states produce 4 sets of dedicated governors, there would be a great difference in many states. Some state only boost of salary payment as achievement, where do you think such state would be in next 20years in all they do is pay salary? No where!

Let stop defending lazy People in politics, it makes morale high to steal n destroy the state further. My state governor should even be tagged the worse governor but I wish my state can be like Lagos even better.

In my view the impact of 4th Mainland on traffic in Lagos is overrated.

Probably 70-80% of the traffic in Lagos on a daily basis is by people from the mainland heading to the business and commercial hub on the Island (Marina, Ikoyi, VI, Oniru, Lekki Ph1) for work and trade. And also folks from residential areas along the Lekki - Epe expressway up to Ajah heading to the same Island for work.

I do not see how 4th mainland bridge helps with any of that based on where it it supposed to be.

Majority of the population of Lagos is very much to the west of where the bridge is supposed to be and will not impact their daily life much. I am not sure there are many people in the Ajah axis who commute to Ikorodu axis daily and vice versa!

For me, the money to be committed to 4th Mainland is better served with the green line rail along the Lekki - Epe corridor to around Abraham Adesanya in the first instance. That will have better long term impact on the people.

Worst case, if we believe there is some commerce between the Ajah and Ikorodu axis, a ferry terminal capable of taking cars could have been done on both sides. There are parts of London where you can just drive onto a ferry and it will cross the river Thames and you drive off.

You believed a poor state like Ebonyi can build its own airport but you the richest state in Nigeria, a state that's is richer than more than 20 Africn countries would need federal government input to build an airport.

Some are talking of this and that State has built Airport before yet the unexposed trolls do not know those are glorified 'sheds' that cannot even wipe the feet of smaller airports in the UK like Stanstead and City Airport let alone Heathrow or Gatwick.

Nigerians, progressive ones anyway, have the factual right to be excited if Lagos is building an airport and floating an airline because we have all seen what the State can do, like the Metro rail and Eko Atlantic, that puts her far above all others in Nigeria today.
