There was a cameroon player behind the GK and closer to the goal line. You need to check the goal again. I am still scratching my head. Have they changed the offside rulehuh
The keeper is always the last man in football rules so if a player is behind the keeper, the player won’t be counted. The keeper is the last man

VO unfortunately did not score but his non stop aggressive pressing and fighting forvtha ball excellent.

Too many MOTM performances today, it's difficult to say.

But my four top performers are
LOOKMAN
VO
AINA
CALVIN
For the first time I liked your post

Since the beginning of the tournament everyone can see how hard lookman has been working even defensively and it's paying off for him 2goals and 1 assist in this tournament. Chukwueze can also look at lookman and work hard also .... And some idiots will say foreign borns doesn't know what it takes to play for super eagle shame on them .
Chuks is disappointing. This tourney might end with Simon as the only winger that will be on G/A sheet. (1) if he doesn't step up. Aina is doing a better job than him on the wings. That says alot.

Aina can be world class

But he’s not world class yet because he’s too nice

So wingers aren’t really scared of him

They can’t beat aina for pace or anything but wingers will always have a go at him

But if he kicks anything that’s white like Bassey them go give am chance

I hope the doubters now understand how important Osimhen is to this team…… baba na pressing machine!
I dont think anyone is doubting Osimhen's capabilities but when he plays badly ,he gets criticized. That's is expected.

Osimhen is a warrior.

1st 9 wey sabi we dey meet tonight. We either cut supply chain(which we good at) or defend against Abou to not see space to out muscle anyone. They're the ones that should be wary of our attack ability though.
We did cut supply chain and still no gree for enikeni. We ask for 1, they do 2 or more.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

The Cameroonians were afraid of Osimhen, it affected everything they did, they feared counters.

but why he no show us this defensive side all this while? you sef know say if not for the uproar, Nwabili no for dey this tourney.. and that won't give our super defenders confidence. all our opponents go dey resort to shots on Uzoho.. I will say things are all playing out for good so far. But I won't give all the credits to this man.. because the man stubbornly wanted to stick with Uzoho and didn't want to change his formation his formation until very recently. E don tey when we dey clamor for a back 3 formation. Even during Rohr's era we said it here.

Peseiro must be talking to somebody with sense. cheesy
bros if uzoho was doing fine and etching out fine fine performance there wont be an uproar and the coach also saw that we have goalkeeping issue and he decided to look for solutions…He came and met uzoho as a new coach, tried him in several matches before accessing wether he will be our number one going forward.
He is the coach of the team, he also sees what we are seeing…we are not the one seeing it for him…afterall none of us recommend nwabali for him…He discovered the guy and brought him into the fold which many of us were still doubting his ability

Shocked some people insulted this coach. I said it before that the problem lies with our players. We kept on insulting the coach for no reason. Give the guy his accolade. He has gotten his tactics right

Lookman looking like the player I thought Chukwueze would become in the SE.

The second goal by Lookman was a display of football intelligence...knew when to pass and the right space to attack in anticipation of delivery.

Osimhen....Immense. Dudes pressing is actually fundamental to this team's set up.
