what about people that don't have relatives in province

There's a point system for it
If you have a close relative you get 20 points
If you have a friend, i think its 10 points

But the idea is to max out the points for each section

Good day Fam,

Please I need your advice.

I have completed my ITA application but I will be traveling out of Nigeria by 5th Feb and I may be in different locations/countries in the next 2months due to Job while my family remains in Nigeria.

Can I go ahead to submit my application now?
Can myself and family do both Biometric & Medicals in different countries?

And is it necessary I raise webform whenever I get to a new location?

Kindly advise.
Thank you

Absolutely. You can go ahead and submit your application, as long as you have provided all the required information up to the point of submission
Yes, you can do biometrics and medicals in different countries. Doesn't matter. Go to IRCC website and you will see the approved hospital list for each country.
You can raise a webform anywhere you are. That's location independent. The webform is not going to ask you what location you are present in.

I replied your invitation to send an email to me, but I haven't received any subsequent email. Or better still, my WhatsApp number is displayed on my signature and profile, you could send a WhatsApp message to me.

That’s not Express Entry. It’s International Express Canada - a program whereby, citizens of some countries betwee the ages of 18 and 35 can come work and travel in Canada.

Congratulations. Please I don’t mind if you can walk me through the total cost implication of your processes through express entry as I’m just about to start. Thanks.

Whatever information I give you based on my personal expenditure would likely be outdated. Cost of different things have changed, like IELTS, ECA, passport application, flight fares (and I do not even know the current rates), PoF requirement, exchange rates. Your family size and PR pathway might even be different from mine.

At best, I'd advise you to check the resources on page 1. I do know that there's a link there that highlights the requirements for pursuing a PR through EE. Play around with various possible scenarios and cost implications. That way, you'd very likely not be too far from the actual amount, assuming exchange rates don't keep rising

Insofar as it’s a paid internship, then it should count.

Thank you. We used CRS ranking tool to estimate the possible score after we projected to score high in the IELTS, we got 455. Mine is even worse because of age. I was considering study route for her to do masters but my concern is how do we migrate with two kids of 3 & 1year. If I choose to work, who will take care of the kids. What do you advise pls? Good evening to the good people of this house.

I'm a software developer with a combined work experience of 4 years (not just software). I have BSC, no Masters. I just clocked 30,hence I've been wondering if I I've got a shot at this.

Are there special considerations/pathways for people in tech that'll improve my chances? Any tech people here who have emigrated recently who were in my shoes? Please put me through.

Thank you kindly.

There is no way you can get into the pool.
Your IELTS results and WES evaluation are needed to create an EE account.

You could refer to page 1 for more details, please.

.
There is a category based draw (for Federal Skilled Worker) for applicants in STEM (of which your profession falls in). There are also some provinces that are in demand for such professions.
You could check page 1 for more details, please.

Yes, there are special pathways for guys in the tech field.

There’s a STEM pathway, and various provinces have pathways for tech occupations too (I’m conversant with Ontarios own coz I got nominated by them).

Read and digest everything on page 1 then get into the pool as soon as possible.

All the best!!!!

Yes you can get into the pool, but you just won't fill in any details about ielts and ECA because you don't have them and your score will be so low you will likely never receive ITA. There's just no window under which it will be possible to receive ITA.

Your chances of surviving are here. Being an auto technician is a valuable skill that can put you in good shape in Canada, especially if you manage to start your own business.

I have been wondering how to register an expression of interest for Ontario nominee program but I am a little confused on how to go about it.
When I submitted my profile in the express entry pool, I recall a section where I was asked about provinces that I will like to live in, and Ontario was one of the province I selected.
My question now is, does selecting Ontario as a province automatically mean that my Express entry profile will be considered when Ontario conducts it own draws? Or is there another way by which I can register an expression of interest?

Ontario conduct their own draws, based on required or needed categories, mostly in the HCP draws (https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-human-capital-priorities-stream) which is just like mini express entry draws where specific in-demand categories are sent Notification of Interest (NOI), based on their NOC codes and CRS scores.

Theres nothing much you can do than to wait. You may be lucky if your express entry primary NOC is in demand (i.e STEM), then they send you NOI.
