Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I appreciate it.

Actually I'm planning to apply with my spouse who is going to study.
Ashirioluwa:

The fund requirement is that you must provide evidence that you have enough funds to pay for your stay in Canada.

To support your claim, you can provide documents from your financial institution, such as your bank statements or bank balance confirmation letter.

You should also try to include pay stubs and employment confirmation letters that detail your salary and employment in here in Nigeria.

If your host will be paying for your visit to Canada, he or she must provide a letter as well as proof to show that he or she will accommodate you and have funds available to support you while you are in Canada.

You can say the emboldened again. I don't like discouraging people..they'd think you're an EOP. Let them go and see things themselves Canada really messed up by not being able to prepare well in advance for the surge. Even those with job permit aren't seeing the job they desire. They need to address this asap. Go to Canada, come back and apply for your PR, that's the fastest route. Asylum seeking no dey click anymore cos they're wiser now.

You must be joking. Canada does not owe your entitled self nothing!

How much taxes have you paid to expect anything back from the GOC?

Oh, well. You're right Ca owes me nothing...than their visa which I'm also paying to renew.

However, its clear enough to the informed, that Canada failed on their immigration policy and why they're now adjusting. Failure isn't a bad thing but a step into getting things right. I remember during my trip to Hungary last year at the AMS Airport, while waiting for my flight to Hungary, I picked up a newspaper and read, just to while away the time. It wasn't me who wrote what I saw and read in that piece.

You have spoken well. I have said it before that Canada was the cause of asylum seekers with VV because their policy of seeking employment on VV gave room for multitude without any proactive measures to cushion the effects on immigrants.

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by MayorOfEdmonton: 5:51pm On Jan 30
Uncle K, a potential visitor/tourist is not an immigrant? An immigrant is a permanent resident & a visitor/tourist is simply a visitor as the visa category says. You should probably take some time to carefully read about how LMiA works and the visa category change policy you alluded to.

I remember last year when this whole VV getting LMIA was a hot topic, some folks here took their time to explain how it works and how difficult it is. But they were called several derogatory names for providing intending travelers with the truth.
Most of the people that travelled last year couldn’t get a job within 6 months, if anyone successfully got one pls correct me with proof.
A lot of them claimed asylum, taking advantage of a system designed for countries currently experiencing war or severe natural disaster.
While I understand that Nigeria is probably somewhere no one wants to be currently with the harsh economic realities and terrible government policies, it’s always better to japa legitimately.

You see this bolded word, let anyone intending to japa hold on to it with their left hand. If you japa illegitimately and without money the type of suffer you go suffer even with money, e no dey get part two. I stopped advising people to japa legitimately instead I keep quiet because they begin to give you the look of you’ve been to several countries and you don’t want me to go.

If you don't hear from them after 5 months from the day of biometrics, then you can email them to inquire about your application. Right now, it's too early to start worrying about an application that's still within the processing time frame.

You can also use the link below to track your application.

My dear brother thanks for checking up on me, have been up and doing lately...

Selling properties certainly not applicable to me, as to God be the glory, I'm never in such category.

Note

I can't fail as long as Jesus Christ never failed, okay.

But if your expectations is as such, pls Mark today's date down " You will always fail in all ramifications of your doing in life.

Enjoy your day brother
