I just hope Uzoho is not on Nairaland/Naija football sites sha.
Man will refuse to man the post if he reads comments Nigerians make about him..But he appears to have a thick skin which borders more on insensitivity unlike Okoye.

That is what bothers me about him

Someone has even suggested that it is possible he is involves in match fixing and it seems plausible with every passing day

How can someone be so mediocre and at the same time act like it doesn't concern him

He doesn't even talk or act like a professional. If you check am na, he'll be one of the loudest in the locker room.

That one na match report na. Different context
Icon4s:

Senegal was only the better team before the game and the first 10mins of the match. Overall CIV bossed them.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 7:03pm On Jan 30
That’s the point I had in mind. CIV had two setbacks as hosts, and somehow they managed to stay in the tournament. This alone made me think it could just go in their favor. They had a lot to prove. There was more at stake for them than the current holders.

TheSuperNerd:
Thanks for the welcome Brother. And indeed, Senegal being the better team coming into this tie only lasted for the first half. Those "some factors that could tilt it the other way" eventually came into play.

CIV fought for their pride. They had the 4-0 bashing at the hands of Equatorial Guinea at the back of their minds. They needed a response desperately and they got it.

We must avoid PKs. And will Nwabali return?

I don’t know if many people realized that Cameroon intentionally wanted to take out Nwabali. They were left with one strategy. Hope for Uzoho and try to force amistake from him which failed because our defence were always high in confidence and they continued with not exposing our GKs

Goal keepers need to be protected more in this tournament. Some folks are trying to use the collision with goal keepers as a trick in getting penalties

After making 9 saves(7saves in the box) and despite conceding two goals against Atalanta, Maduka Okoye makes sofascore’s serie-A team of the week.

Growth!

Song was one of the dirtiest players in the world when he played. A leopard can shed his skin. Most likely he asked his players to find a way to take out Nwabali. They colluded with him twice in quick succession, on the second one, he got injured.

That jump was very awkward from the Cameroon player. He wasn’t even contesting for the ball.

It seems Several countries watched our games leading to AFCON and hoped to exploit our GK problems. Had Peseiro stuck with Uzoho who knows where would have been by now.

As first reported by SCORENigeria, a major pay row is boiling in the Super Eagles camp at the 2023 AFCON after outstanding bonuses and allowances of the team have yet to be paid despite a Government approval to clear these monies.

It can now be reported that the cash crisis in the Super Eagles has taken a new dimension after several senior players fell out with captain Ahmed Musa for “not fighting” for the team.

SCORENigeria learnt that the senior players accused Ahmed Musa of taking sides with the NFF leadership as it concerns payments for them.

One of the senior players who recently captained the team in the absence of Ahmed Musa had a personal confrontation with the captain on this vexed issue.

It was alleged that Ahmed Musa has failed to carry the rest of the team on discussions concerning their welfare.

“There is a serious issue of trust between Ahmed Musa and the other players when it comes to pursuing their entilements,” one of the players told SCORENigeria

“They believe he has not represented their interests.”

Some of the players have already warned they will go “above and beyond” their captain and take the matter to a higher level soon.

“How do you expect Ahmed Musa to take on the NFF to get the entitlements of the team when they did him a very big favour by getting him on the AFCON squad?” another source rhetorically asked SCORENigeria

This article is utter balderdash. The aim of this write is nothing but to show his anger and disappointment that Musa was taken to the AFCON

This is sad, if true
I had hoped payment issues would be sorted without hiccups
I read somewhere that BAT approved $1.3M for players, etc for this AFCON
Why would they delay their payments for whatever reason??

This is really sad, if true
