This is sad, if true
I had hoped payment issues would be sorted without hiccups
I read somewhere that BAT approved $1.3M for players, etc for this AFCON
Why would they delay their payments for whatever reason??

This is really sad, if true
grin grin grin. Ghana budgeted around $8mil.

As first reported by SCORENigeria, a major pay row is boiling in the Super Eagles camp at the 2023 AFCON after outstanding bonuses and allowances of the team have yet to be paid despite a Government approval to clear these monies.

It can now be reported that the cash crisis in the Super Eagles has taken a new dimension after several senior players fell out with captain Ahmed Musa for “not fighting” for the team.

SCORENigeria learnt that the senior players accused Ahmed Musa of taking sides with the NFF leadership as it concerns payments for them.

One of the senior players who recently captained the team in the absence of Ahmed Musa had a personal confrontation with the captain on this vexed issue.

It was alleged that Ahmed Musa has failed to carry the rest of the team on discussions concerning their welfare.

“There is a serious issue of trust between Ahmed Musa and the other players when it comes to pursuing their entilements,” one of the players told SCORENigeria

“They believe he has not represented their interests.”

Some of the players have already warned they will go “above and beyond” their captain and take the matter to a higher level soon.

“How do you expect Ahmed Musa to take on the NFF to get the entitlements of the team when they did him a very big favour by getting him on the AFCON squad?” another source rhetorically asked SCORENigeria

in as much as the nff ought to do the needful, the players should also note that it's unwise to allow such a crisis before an important game unless they no longer believe they can go all the way. If they are in the final already and this happens, na me go be their first supporter

But how are you sure it wasn't Nacho that doesn't want to renew?

Why do you think he refused to renew.

And give me one good reason why the Leicester city would want to renew his contract.

He is on £80k a week and has not been able to score more than 5 goals a season in the last two seasons in the EPL and is struggling in the championship.

SA to win 7.48 odds😮

And I'm not surprised at the scoreline cos they have a good record against north African opponents. They even defeated this same Morocco in the qualifiers.
