SA won by a close call and they also benefited from having a Nwakali to kill the game.

Please expand on the Nwakali thing it's confusing.

The current SE can beat Argentina.
They will call for quick rematch and they will still not win.

I see this as an opportunity to get a high rating for SE if they win afcon first.
Thank you! Exactly wetin I dey tell my guy. I was even thinking NFF overheard me from my house when we were playing Cameroon and I shouted give us Argentina ASAP 😂

The SuperSports anchor just said that "the stats" suggest that the Super Eagles have a 25% chance of winning the AFCON --- the highest percentage of any of the nations still involved in the tournament.
Before the tournament started, Morocco had the lowest odd and highest chance to win the tournament @6.00 odds, Nigeria was the fourth or fifth @10.90 odds - on Sportybet. I been just dey laugh because I know tables will turn. Now Nigeria has the lowest odd and highest chance @2.90 odds followed by Ivory Coast @3.40 odds ✌🏾

grin angry we can safely say that the entire continent want NIgeria out of the tournament, Ghanaians and Cameroonians obviously want NIgeria out, while the others see NIgeria as the biggest hurdle to them winning the trophy
Because Nigeria have the best overall character and culture to win tournaments among all the remaining countries, distantly followed by CIV.
All of them will be rooting against us

That's understandable seeing they have a very organised and well funded league
No real hurry to run to obscure leagues abroad

Dem no like Nigeria because we too dey boast. If we scale Angola, SA or CV awaits. If we scale the semis, IV/DRC/GUI/MLI awaits. That is why ghanaians are hopeful

Best defence in the tournament.

Only one goal conceded and that was in our first game.

Consequent games have seen opponents starved of the 18-yard box, how much more a goal. Very compact defensive line. Angola may find it hard to penetrate that.

I'm still hopeful Nwabali will be back in time. He trained fully yesterday, the knee knock may be healed by Friday. Angola's #1 Goalkeeper will also not be in the lineup because of his red card, so, this may be good for us, as long as his second is not an Ejide to his Enyeama.
best defense my ass because of one avoidable goal conceded

Fun fact: Since the introduction of the quarterfinals in 1992, Nigeria has lost only one of their last ten quarterfinal games - (Win 9, Loss 1) cool

either that or lack of ability. Percy had to run back to Egypt from the epl just to be relevant again. Their squad is 80% home based because they really don't have that much abroad based players.

This guy has been performing very well for Luton. I was even about asking if he's eligible to play for us, because I've been wondering why he hasn't been invited to the Super Eagles team.

If Nwabali is not fully fit then he should not play on Friday.

It's a dangerous thing to have an unfit playing in between the sticks.

If UZOHO will be used and not Olorunleke

Then an unfit NWABILI is better.

His presence alone gives the defenders confidence

I disagree with you.

You need to start following Luton Town matches bro. His other team mate, Chiedozie Ogbene has already played for Ireland.

You can add to that Adedayo Osho (CB)
