Sunday Mba was very influential to us lifting the AFCON. Dont disrespect him because he was home based. He was a beautiful attacking midfielder. Iwobi is not half the player he was. Mba was also in his late twenties during the AFCON without European football experience.

hey!! God!!!

"Sunday MBA better than iwobi" ??

Nawa oh!!

Iwob,i given the chance, either inside the box or outside the box, has a weak shot or poor technique at shooting accurately at goal. This is what i dislike most about him. Dude always always wobble at shooting with aplomb. Just doesn't have it like okocha when it comes to shooting at goal.
worst part, he has no skill. Can't dribble to save his life

Sunday Mba played just two good games for Nigeria. Please rest this talk!
That was how you guys forced Keshi to take that Gabriel... to the World Cup. Once Onazi got injured our midfield just collapsed. Abeg!
I think the choice of Gabriel was solely keshi's ,. As you might know, he (keshi) took some form of bribe.

He is not one of their star players. He is to Angola what Nathan Douala is to Cameroon. He has not seen the even a single minute in this AFCON and he is just 21. So plus or minus him, the Angolan ship go still dey sail until we sink am tomorrow
Mozambique, angola and cape Verde are fond of using white players they import from Portugal and iberia

🔴⚪️ Ajax have rejected formal bid from Nottingham Forest for Chuba Akpom.

Ajax also sent counter-proposal that #NFFC see as unacceptable.

Akpom wants the move but as of now, not advancing between clubs.

Iwobi is an English boy. He is their product and that comes with real benefits. Iwobi wouldn't need a work permit to get a club in England.

We have said this so many times.

Is this a joke. What's the job of a coach ?
Sunday mba is another overrated player. After his heroics in 2013, where is he today? Nowhere to be found. Even archaeologists are still looking for him

Yeah, usually from the first 10-15mins of a game you can tell who the better team is baring any twists and turns in the game.
Exactly.

his shooting style never changes. If all the players put on a sack on their head and they shoot, you can always identify iwobi and I think it's too late for him to change.

Lol. Iwobi's shooting is really subpar and I think this is what has prevented him from staying long at the top (Arsenal).

But Iwobi is really great at taking good low one-touch shots inside the box which is difficult for goalkeepers to save. Check his goal against Zambia to take us to the 2018 WC.

But if you're expecting him to fire accurate rockets with pace and placement from outside the box, you're on a long thing. Which is why I think he is better as a CM than an AM.

I am trying not to make mockery of you Nigerians here but try and help me out. What has Iwobi ever achieved as a player.

Mba has won the Nigerian Premier league with Warri Wolves and the almighty nations cup where he was instrumental to our victory. Foot ball-wise, Mba is a proper ball playing attacking midfielder in the mold of Kevin Debryan. You dont even know anything about the player and his exploits in the Nigerian league.

Some of you people are mostly Nigerian based local football followers without any exposure. Biko chill. Because Iwobi plays in the premiership where he is the a below average player. Mba was at the very top of the Nigerian league scaring players with Etebor, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Aniekwe the highest goal scorer

I don't see how the Angolans defense will stop our attack.
They have conceded the most shot on their goal playing Namibia, Mauri...etc.

It will be our easiest game!

I agree. I don't do predictions but I'd say 3-0, Osimhen to score a brace

Iwobi took you to 2018 World Cup. Took you to 2019 AFCON semis (scored the winning goal against Cameroon and the assist against SA). And still contributing to your team in 2024. You are the one disrespecting Iwobi for a guy that scored just two goals for Nigeria in his entire career!
mba scored 7 goals for us.

We have won the Afcon three times. Why isn't our jersey badge carrying three stars?

German WC jersies always carry 4 stars indicating the number of times they have won the WC
blame the sport brands and CAF too. It supposed to be on jerseys. Besides, the Captain's armband need to change abeg. Add some design to that yellow thing abeg or change it totally.

My biggest headache with Iwobi is that I dont know where he belongs on the pitch. He simply loves the attacking midfield role because of the fame that comes with it.
You have headache. No be Iwobi cause am. Iwobi was not in our match against GB and our play was everywhere like the tattered cloth of a poor old woman. Iwobi knits the team together with you his quick, short passes. He fits just fine in this formation

Lol. Joke aside though, it's amazing how that guy managed to have a poor career after that AFCON.

Even though he couldn't get a deal to a top team, one would expect that his talent would take him up there eventually. Surprisingly, Baba never made it past Bastia.

One explanation is that Mba almost certainly was playing on "football age" (I remember he was already balding in 2013). But even if he was in his late twenties, he should have had at least three to four years at the top.

He is not overrated. By the time he left the Nigerian league he was in his 30s. Just because you are a Nigerian doesn't mean you should not have common sense. Its annoying arguing with grown men who cant think

99% of the players in all levels of English leagues are either English born or European born.
