Here we go again.
What does he mean by value?
If he mean 81% of Nigerian labor force doesn't pay tax, he should come out and state that clearly.

Instead of him to confront the misleading 4.1% unemployment figure, he resorts to blaming workers.

Even if we assume that all government workers including him are unproductive(that is obviously not true), they don't
make up to 5% of Nigerian workforce.
So where did he get his 81% from?

Unless he wants to argue that the private sector is also paying people for doing nothing.
You can read and digest...it will take you a fraction of the time you took to writw all this to simply read and properly understand that short write up.

Fire him too

For taking allowances in a committee that is irrelevant

There’s a supervising ministry over tax entities like customs and FIRS, you’re just there to coordinate how alpha beta style of Tinubu can get a slice of the biggest pie

A government that is an economic burden itself is pointing accusing fingers. Bunch of idiots.
Did he point fingers or rather emphasize the need to create meaningful jobs? Are you sure you are not the idiot here??

Tinubu govt blaming Nigerians for the poor economy.

We warned you guys not to vote for Tinubu esp as he was avoiding debates and interviews which shows he lacks ideas but you guys refused to listen due to ethnic and religious sentiments.

The only reason I'm not chastising Nigerians is because the majority of Nigerians did not vote for him, neither was he genuinely elected but rather Mahmmud rigged him in by swapping Obi's votes
Obidient !!!! calm down.!!!! It is time for governance not politics anymore . Obi becoming president can never bring miracle but just to satisfying your emotional and political interest.

This is true about government workers.

Over 90% of the workers in local government secretariats do nothing apart from gossip.

Most of the workers in Exams and Records in public universities do nothing apart from gossip. Students queue for payment invoice and queue again for signature after payment. But after final-year exam, the same students will gather all the receipts for paid fees and move from one office to another for clearance. What then do the workers in the Records office do if they can't prepare lists of those who are owing and those who have paid? The students will also move from one office to another, trying to get their results. There are many workers in the office but students queue for not just hours but for days behind the office windows while the workers sluggishly attend to the students.

I know a public secondary school in which SS1, SS2 and SS3 had only one Maths teacher. The same teacher was a lecturer in a State Polytechnic. One SS1 set saw the teacher only 4 times in 3 years (as the set moved from SS1 to SS3). The teacher taught the set Maths twice in SS1 and once in SS2. The 4th time was when the teacher entered the SS3 class once to advise the students to go to lesson centres to prepare for WEAC and NECO. Imagine a teacher being the one telling students to go to lesson centres.
Hmmmm, that's not what he's saying, if you are contributing to the economy, it should be inform of taxes, so i disagree with what he's saying.

when we talk of productivity in economy .
It is not about earning salary and pay Tax.
Yes, it is all about income.
If a buyer is willing to pay for a goods or services without being coerced.
The supplier is 100% productive.

When you remove Teaching and manufacturers many of our sectors are just parasite that doesn't contribute to the bottom line that can grow economy.
Teaching and Manufacturing are the only productive sectors?
This must be a joke.

I suppose, drivers, doctors, farmers and traders are all parasites right?
I wonder who is paying the parasites?

If you build a huge factory and manufacture millions of items that nobody wants,
you are the parasite. An truck pusher is more productive than you are in such case
even though you are a "manufacturer".

If we are to go by your logic, Nigeria's GDP should about be about $50 billion dollar
since your non-parasitic manufacturing sectors contributes less than 10% to our GDP.
Teaching doesn't even make a dent.

This is simply not true. These people work their ass off. I've witnessed with different tertiary institutions. I think the problem might lie with the too many ghost workers or maybe the government simply don't employ enough. Nigerian universities are over populated - I also have experience with foreign universities

Another useless talk as usual. Did any Nigeria leader ever make Nigeria an enabling environment for the citizens to grow? Capital No..

You don't give us good and motorable roads.

You don't give us good security of our lives and properties.

Same government still allow thugs, herdsmen, Boko Haram, and many more to be killing us..

You rogues cannot provide good medical facilities for us Nigerians but you jump around enjoying what other leaders provided for their country... Shame on you all.
And in 2027 you'll still vote the same People you called rogues again.

Stop the pretence.

Ask yourself if government has provided them with the necessary materials and trainings to deliver on their jobs. Do they even have offices and laboratories to work? Okay, is that the reason you have not taken their plight seriously?
Sit down and be waiting for Govt to give you job when smallies are creating businesses and earning cash.

Poverty will just corner you and pin you down where you're waiting for govt to find job for you.

You better get off your ass and go make yourself useful to the economy.

If the working class are not adding value, is it the unemployed that are adding value?
Are the politicians in power among the 81% non-valua adding workers?
Stating that less than 5% is the unemployment rate ìn Nigeria is a criminal offence because everyone knows he's lying. Anyway, it's the Nigerian thing to lie so I leave him to his device.
There is unemployment and there is underemployment
