A joke of a team. Just grinding out result without a pattern of play. Also, how is Osimhen the best in Africa when he is 1/3 of Salah? The guy is very average.

We could have done better if the coach had made the right substitutes.

Cut him some slack. He's been sacrificing his chances for Lookman
I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by sacrifing chances.

But the fact is that he was Nigeria's ‘go to’ man, going into the tournament. And he has massively failed to leave up to the hype.
... so far.

And who assured you that Cape Verde will qualify? Na so una hype Senegal till dem comot.
Senegal send forth out of the game was a shocker to me, cos they had a good game play & their group stage campaign was tight even while the super eagles were written off. Perhaps they were worth the hype

What Peseiro saw while on that seat, you may not see it even if you climb a tree.
Taaah

Despite this victory, the man is not a good coach, he's just scraping through

encourage them by lying like you lots do. The team isn't good and their game isn't really flowing. Angola is too poor to have lost with just a goal. Luck is all the eagles have going for them and they might not get it next time.

As for you, enjoy the time I gave you because I don't give pigs time often.

You are pained..

Heal properly

Ahmed Musa would be a more effective striker than Osimen. They have used hyping to finish Osimen. Congrats to the team.
Osimhen is good. He may not have been decisive at certain instances & guilty of missing some good chances but overall he is worth his hype.

Very poor. They lack finishing.

If they keep playing like this and end the tournament as winners having conceded one goal - I think we can forgive them.

This team force other teams to play their game. What's not to like.

This set of super eagles are hungry for success!

I'll give my man of the match award to both the goalkeeper.

The Angola players played with lots of passion and determination, but the eagles came prepared. Loads of kudos to the eagles defense. They all deserve serious commendation.

Osimehn doesn't seem to have found a suitable style in this tournament and the team needs to reduce their reliance on him.

Overall, this is one of the best super eagles matches I've watched. So much focus and concentration on their mission.

Why the coach didn't bring in fresh leg, I think the guy is clueless, iheanacho was on bench,he played the starting 11 for fuvvking 90 minutes, those guys begin to gas, especially osimhen, thanks to defence, they really work today ... The coach is stupid rubbish mediocre coach,
