Yekini was truly selfish for celebrating the goal as if he did it alone. Instead of running to meet his mates to celebrate the goal with them. He held the net and was shouting his name. It is normal it would pain anyone.
He was a striker. He only tapped the ball into the net.
His action infrurated his teammates and Amokachi was the ring leader of the gang up.

The boys refused to pass the ball to Yekini anymore. If he did not get a pass let's see how he would score and ascribe the success to himself.

The boys never thought of the feelings of the millions of Nigerians watching at home. They took it personal.
