Please what do u suggest we do , or is it because of the attestation stuff...

Did you receive a confirmation of submission email from IRCC?. This should be immediately after submission. Thereafter the BCL after 24hrs or so. Also have you done Biometrics for Canada in the past? . It could also be attestation letter related.

Hello everyone,

Please house I need your advice. I am yet to receive an update from IRCC concerning my study visa. The final date to complete my tuition is next week Tuesday. Currently, I don't have the money now. Is it safe if I use part of my proof of funds to pay up? My concern is that I have not gotten a decision from IRCC and I don't know if it is safe for me to do that.
Someone should please advise on this.

In my opinion, if you don't pay up your tuition fee, you admission may be revoked. If your admission is revoked, and your study visa later approved, you may need to reapply to the school again if allowed. If not allowed by the school, you will have to forfeit your study permit as you can't use a study visa approval linked to one school to attend the other. In this case, you will have to submit another study permit application.

In other way, if you pay up, and your study permit is refused for example, you can defer your intake to next intake and reapply. If you decide you don't want to reapply, you can request for a refund of your tuition paid by showing your school your refusal letter. Although every school with their conditions, some school may fully refund you, while some school will remove an amount and refund you the balance depends on your school refund policy. You may check your school refund policy for more

My Opinion

Pay up your fees and have faith. Either good or bad, you can still use your paid tuition receipt to reapply. However, have faith and pray, it will surely end in praise.

Please I want to ask.
If a spouse is going for masters in Canada, is the husband required to get attestation letters from province for a spousal work permit?

Please I need answers.
Thank you

No. MSc or not, SOWP applications never needed letter of attestation. Only Study permit applications needed it

Thank you for your swift response.

Because a friend is saying her agent is asking the husband needs to pay a certain fee to be able to get him a letter that will get him a work permit as a dependant to the wife who is going for masters degree soon.

[quote author=Bhusawlah post=128308033]Pls is this what the confirmation email look
What you have shared is a email notifying you they sent something to your portal. Most likely to be the submission confirmation and BCL.
Log into the IRCC portal. You should see a submission of confirmation letter IMM 5739 and a biometrics collection letter which yo will use to book and go for biometrics.

Hi Guys, do I need to book appointment before submitting my original passport? I can't log in to my vfs account and can't create anew one.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 12:33pm On Feb 06
Yes, it is safe, to prevent having your admission revoked by the school, pay your tuition fee and send the receipt to ircc using the webform.

Thanks for your prompt response. However, I did my upfront since 19th December and I'm yet to get my medical results from them via email. I also want to know if they sent my medical results to IRCC cos I'm yet to get medical passed from IRCC since 30th December.
Do I send my complaint to the above email address?

Thanks guys

Experts in the house please correct me if I am wrong.
For the Attestation letter, does it mean that provinces with historical less number of international student enrollment like saskatchewan, New Brunswick will now have a larger cap and will be able to issue more Attestation letters compared to provinces like British columbia or Ontario?

Well you have to specific..
If you want to make the move just note that Canada is just another country, people came here and immediately their lives became better others not so much.
Some will need patience to settle and things will fall in place while others will need to seek their greener pasture elsewhere.
Thank you.

according to statistics Canada up to 50% of DLI institutions in Canada are located in the province of Ontario.
Meaning almost 50% of international graduate students are heading to Ontario.
On the other hand Ontario is the most developed province in Canada meaning they have many developed cities in one province. So they have more capacity to take in more students than PEI or SAS.
For sure Ontario will get less students going forward but will still have more students in general because they have more schools.

Good morning everyone...

I really don't know what to do any more . I applied for study permit on 11th November, 2023. My medical was passed dec 13th 2023. Uptill now there has been no update from IRCC. My application is almost 12 weeks now.

I have sent series of emails and webform and the response is always . My application is undergoing processing. On Monday I got another reply that it is with Rapid response office in Canada.
Is there any thing I can do at this point please? Kindly share...

Have you received any update from RROC?
