What happened to our national food reserve? Since we used to have one, I suggest they go back to the Buhari years and copy what worked. They should buy at harvest season at prevailing rates and gradually release back into market to curb the inflationary effect of middlemen looking to store food for maximum profit. The dry season harvest can also be bought. Govt can even decide to be on the offensive by importing selected grains to combat anticipated shortfalls. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

He said, “It is the issue of demand and supply and a lot of emphasis has been placed on increasing agricultural production, in particular. What is the point increasing output alone if stronger currencies from African neighbours will buy most of the increase in output? Govt should buy it and store against time of low stock. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Edun is a silly man. Imagine a Minister talking all over the place without addressing the core issue - bandits tearing their way through farmlands and through farmers and their families. You supply grains and fertilizers? To be used where? On the same farms that criminals are just waiting to slaughter farmers and rape their wives and daughters. Edun is a VERY silly man. It took the German Minister to point out the INSECURITY issues. Edun was just hitting USELESS talking points he thinks is needed to get Germany to sign the MoU and release the funds for him and his boss to EMBEZZLE. Silly man. 95 Likes 9 Shares |

When you`re clueless you`re clueless no cap. No amount of blame games and excuses will make me believe Tinubu is good enough to be the Nigerian president till i start seeing results. After the same government will come out to tell us that Nigeria has the cheapest food commodities in West Africa. Nigeria na de only country wer get pple wer no qualify 2b local government chairmen as presidents, governors, senators and ministers. 12 Likes 1 Share |

The problem of present Nigeria is the southwest economic ideology... Since the east and south south left governance and economy in the hands of southwest.. in 2015. Nigeria has not gotten it right .. and will never ever get it right Simply because the southwest believe in pushing propaganda in all dealing .. they know how to talk and type it intellectually.. But when reality knocks... all those intellectual and sophistication becomes bollocks and gibberish. “ Igbos are the pillars of my Administration “ This statement of fact then became the core basis why Nigerians are where they are .. Oya Yorubas has become pillars of Apc administration since , and after that statement .. What is actually happening .. Hatred and tribal bitterness is bad .. God help Nigerians .... People are suffering for real.. help someone today.. you will feel good you did. 32 Likes 3 Shares |

Citizens are lamenting State govts are lamenting Now federal government has joined in the lamentations. So who is lamenting to whom Now? All of them ignored the warnings about Fulani militia killing and kidnapping farmers and drivers transporting farm products. I recall this statement by Nnamdi Kanu that made Buhari to go after him vigorously 7 Likes
