our players look tired
You have a coach who isn't brave enough to tweak line ups, isn't brave enough to make substitutions on time. He'll run the boys into the ground.

We need to switch to 4 - 4 - 2 or 4 - 3 - 3 formation, either way sub off Osayi for Iheanacho.

we need the first half to be over, their coach has exploited our weaknesses so well

Aina showing class against Percy Tau SA best player and most dangerous.

Imagine what he would have done to the very rash and far from composed Zaidu

if SA goes ahead, they deserve it, hoping they gas out so we can breathe
They won't gas out.

A passing team does not gas out.

Broos has hacked something about this side.

JP has to make a tactical switch

An extra midfielder is needed not iheanacho.

Iheanacho doesn't defend and he is injured.

You can't remove Lookman or iwobi that's madness.

Lookman is the scorer while Iwobi is controlling the midfield.

Iheanacho is fit and can as well play as 10. If you want creativity in this match, only Iheanacho can bring it from the middle.

Good delivery by Aina that was a good ball but VO didn't connect well.

scorer? No be when you see ball you go score? We can remove Bright too but that will mean a switch to a back 4

the reason why are not trailing is because of Nwabali

Thank you. You came to my rescue.

I am not impressed. Alhassan needs to be introduced to the midfield. The midfield has been disjointed and overrun by the South Africans.

We need to bring our backline lower. Hugo Broos has figured out that long balls are the way to destroy our defence.

This game is a pure strategy war at this point. Brain versus brain. So far, Broos is winning.

This is the worse match I have seen Nigeria play in this competition, osimhen is not fit, see we are missing that his front markings and pressing, and that’s what has given South African an edge so far…

If osimhen is sick, he should be substituted, and I want the person they bring in to be marking from front.

Bright Osayi I don’t really like His performance.

Infact tbh the team is playing like they want to loose or they are tired .

That'll be a poor decision. That means you'll be sacrificing arguably your best chance creator and your best finisher in the team.

Everyone that keeps crying 😭 for osayi to be included hope say una eyes don clear

Aina is good at left back aina this aina that

You all have clearly seen while sanusi has his shortcomings upfront he’s an excellent defender

Bright doesn’t read games at all and he’s getting eaten alive out there my goodness

Guys let’s stop thinking with emotions now you all have to put some respect on sanusi name

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:53pm On Feb 07, 2024
it's all a matter of how you can tweak things in the run of play. I see SA have switch up play later on in the half. Sending lopping passes upfront and relying on the speed of their forwards. Our defense have been okay, But so far SA has threatened more and Nwabali responded well.

it's all down to Peseiro.. Keep to the same script or fight differently to go ahead?
