lol... you like other people's hard work. You go all over the world in search of players to play for Nigeria. Players not groomed or developed in Nigeria, the host countries of their parents using thier resources in hope of getting thier return on thier investments. But then you claim as yours. Imagine Saka playing for Nigeria - after England developed him. Good his parents to refused

The best African club for almost a decade now has been a South African club side...the same side which had provided us with players that have got us to the semis.

Our ladies are African champions

The PSL is one of the most organized and competitive leagues in Africa

The number 1 sport in SA is football, so how are we not a footballing nation?

Can your domestic league provide you with players to compete at this level?

Give credit where it's due
And yet, you still don't have national team! How many of players come from a single local team again?

That's where your local stars get it wrong.

Your local stars are so comfy with the local leagues they have nothing to show for.
It's good to grow the local league but don't become a local legend ( grow and retire in banana banana)

... That is NO footballers dream!

SoNature:
They go for regular training sessions, so the coach knows players who can deliver penalties.

Besides, playing penalties at this stage of the tournament comes with a lot of pressure. That's why he substituted Osimhen and got experienced players to deliver the penalties.
Omeruo is a real senior man. His penalty was the best. He made the goal keeper look like a fool and totally destroyed all the hype about him.

The guy is right. You SAs ain't got no bragging right in Africa's most elite soccer tournament-AFCON.
Your league maybe be superb in class but if that class does not reflect in a continental tournament like Afcon then consider yourselves underavhievers at best.
Nigeria since time immemorial builds her team using abroad based players as a backbone and it pays off occasionally. So It's about different strokes for different folks, you see!!
