Thats true, but it would have ended somewhat like 4-3 in Favour of Nigeria. I see why its easy for SA to believe they lost by a close margin, however for a team like SA that have many of their players playing together in the same club or league, this may actually be their best performance. All thanks to the formation Pesiero decided to play. If he had played Oshimen and Moffi plus Iaenacho,and Iwobi and Yusuf together since the beginning of the 2nd half, Super Eagles would’ve won the game in normal time.
Osihmen was starving and was overworking like he did in previous games.
The coach shouldn’t have played a 3-4-3 formation. An attack minded game was what was needed. He almost lost the match because of his lack of vision and depth to read the game dynamics.
