ruggedness is still needed, mikel used to be soft, he had to become rugged
Remember how raggedy our midfield used to be with Onazi and Ndidi. You can't play two rugged midfielders. The energy no go jell.

What we should be looking for in our midfield is creativity or efficiency. For gidigbo we already have Ndidi, Onyeka, Frank and Onyedika.

They are also Nigerians,so definitely they'll feel some sense of patriotism for Nigeria. Whether they play for the country or not, they are connected to the country, and so they'll have some emotional attachment to the nation.
True... absolute truth boss. But why decline anytime we approached them to play for us.

Iwobi has been an Ajebo and he plays a very beautiful football ... the current playing style of the Super Eagle has been what has made him play this way ... dont forget that he is one of the best in giving those short passes and he does it perfectly well .... also very dangerous in the18yard box . he may not be familiar with the new role ... somehow someone will be the weak link .. all the same the team has performed well /.

We have a lot of Ajebo in that team , i was surprised that SE could play jam body footie with Cameroun .

Which nwakali? lol. Nwakali has regressed a lot since the U17 days.

That boy isn’t SE material. The day iwobi gets dropped from the SE, na that day una go realize say iwobi is one of our most crucial players.
grin

He is still a young chap bruh. Guess you remember he is same set as Osimhen?!

I dont know if anyone in our technical area noticed the South African GK had a shoulder injury. He was in pains on his right shoulder. I was screaming that our pk takers should place balls to his right.
I think Omeruo was the only player who seemed to take advantage of this information. Williams almost caught Iheanacho's pk because he placed it on his good side. He dived to his left most of the time.
These minor things can make a difference. Our bench should take note.
Watch that PK again. There's no way he would have caught it. The speed and swerve was too much into the far right corner.

Dude's calmness is something else. Once you see his broad smile as a defender you'll think you're prime Sergio Ramos grin

BankyGee:
Two things that eases my pressure when we're playing games
1. If camera zooms Ekong's face.
2. If Nwabali shine teeth 😤

My mind go just calm 😮‍💨
Immediately Nwabali shine teeth yesterday, everybody for viewing centre stand up begin clap 👏🏾😂😂

Iwobi should take a cue from Victor Moses, he can do more and should do more. The Ola Aina we are all praising today was never like this before, he simply did more
Iwobi dropped a stinker last night. The team was carrying him like a passenger.
Thankfully, we had only 1 passenger, if we had 2 passengers, SA wins the game by 2goal margin.

What if it was a bait. Some smart GKs use this tactic.
All his dives was to his left. That tells his right shoulder was legit hurt. Apart from Ekongs Pk which he banked on him shooting straight to the middle before he dived after the ball.

To their credit most of our players played towards his right or straight down the middle like Moffi, apart from Kelechi whose pk he could have caught when he played to his favoured side.
