That CBN dept relocation to SW isnt my headache as my opinion here wouldnt change a thing but then, If Ndume was a SE person, Low IQ individuals here would have started telling us how its every Yoruba guys dream to marry an Igbo girl

Thing is, the liberalism of Yoruba men is so expressive that they can marry from any tribe, In fact, They've produced two presidents and none had a Yoruba woman as his first lady(none has an Igbo first lady too)

Kudos to a tribe that doesnt discriminate...Great Men is what they are
Point of correction.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo's First Lady was from Esanland. Stella Obasanjo was indeed an Esan-Edo woman from the illustrious Abebe family of Edo State.

However, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (the current First Lady of Nigeria) is a Yoruba woman from Ijebuland. She is paternally an Ijebu-Yoruba from Ogun State and her mother is an Itsekiri woman from a prominent family in Delta State.

Itsekiris also have Yoruba ancestries from Ilaje, Ijebu, and Ife. Omadino and Ode Itsekiri in Delta State were originally founded by Ijebu migrants. The oil and gas-rich Ugborodo (formerly Escravos) was also founded by Ilaje migrants from Ugboland in today's Ondo State over 500 years ago.

Yorubas from Ilaje, Ijebu, Ife are direct cousins to the larger Itsekiri people and this is why Itsekiri language is classified as Yoruboid. Also, there was a Bini-Edo migration into Ode Itsekiri led by Prince Ginuwa (whose mother was from Ile Ife) and 70 of his lieutenants. The oracle was consulted over some events, so he had to go into exile from Benin even though his father was the reigning Oba as of the 1480s.

Hope this helps.

Well, there are significant marriages involving Yoruba men and Kanuri women, and vice versa. Senator Ali Ndume is a Kanuri man from Borno State. There are also some Yoruba families that actually have Kanuri paternal bloodline (married to Yoruba women) from decades back but they are Yorubanized and call themselves Yoruba. Even the erudite Edo-born scholar, Ahmed Yerima's father is a Kanuri originally from Borno State and his mother is from Auchi in Edo State. Ahmed Yerima claims Edo State and his wife is a Yoruba legal practitioner.

The main thrust of this thread is that the former Emir of Kano, ex-CBN Governor and international technocrat Sanusi Lamido Sanusi AFFIRMED that there is NOTHING wrong in moving the CBN departments and staff from Abuja to Lagos to safe huge cost. He said when he was the CBN Governor he wanted to do the same but had NO time left in office to do so.

Kingsley Moghalu the former CBN Deputy Governor also recently said the same thing and supported the relocation move of the CBN departments and staff to Lagos from Abuja.

So, case closed.

CBN relocating some departments is in the interest of the nation. This sounds funny to me. How's d relocation in d interest of d nation? Why can't u defend your nonsense in peace without dragging d whole nation into it? If a south southern or south eastern become a president and relocate some departments of some parastals to south south or south east make sure u describe it as being in d interest of d nation. What an ethnic tribal sentimentalist u are!!!

Didn't Jonathan put the HQ of the NCMDB in Bayelsa

But I thought Lagos is more congested than any other city? If truly it's for decoration
y not move it to another state? Keep on lying to yourself thinking you're deceiving everybody.

My friend, CBN has expansive facilities in Lagos which are under-used or unused. Does it make sense to spend so much on facilities which you wouldn't use? If similar facilities of CBN exist in any other states, they should equally be used. If those you want to supervise are in Sokoto, does it any economic sense for you to stay away from them supervise them from Abuja, because it is the capital of Nigeria? The essence of education is to benefit humanity, not speaking grammar. You don't need to step out of Nigeria before you know what obtains in other climes. Added to the matter is the safety issue which you care less about.

I’m not defending this administration but only if know some things about policies but obviously you don’t understand anything about national development plan and policies that’s why you’re reasoning like that. U that doesn't have pessimistic mindset, read your post again and tell me if it makes sense.
Is this mistake or intentional to confuse? U understand national development plan and policies but your post doesn't make sense. I don't want to be like u pls. I repeat, when someone from another region take over power and relocates some govt parastatals to his region,
make sure you'll still call it in the interest of national development. I don't care if you're from middle belt or Pluto just maintain your words, OK?
