The time to buy guinea corn is gradually fading away.
If you miss it, no problem. Just prepare for raw locust beans. It comes out by march April.

If you miss that, then prepare for groundnut and egusi by August

How long can groundnut be stored for someone doing storage business?

Two types of groundnut can be stored

1. Unpeeled one (i.e still with pod)
2. Peeled one

Dry Unpeeled one can last up to 8months is well bagged and not exposed to moisture

Dry Unpeeled one can stay up to 5 months if properly kept

Check your posting and correct yourself. You mentioned dry unpeeled one twice. I know it was a mistake.

Dry unpeeled groundnut can last up to 8months.

Dry peeled ones can stay up to 5 months.

I have the unpeeled ones and has been with me since August 2023, and it's still good.

Corn in October 2023 was 350#, today Jan 9, it's 650

Guinea corn in December 15 was 400, today it's 550

Groundnut was 600 in sept, it's now 1200

Egusi was 450 in August, it's now 800

Beans was 650 in Dec, it's now 800

I have corn for 600, if you wan buy.

By march ending, we'll have new raw locust beans in the market.

By August, new groundnut and Egusi will hit the market

By November, Bambara nut will hit the market, and so on.

Just buy during this harvest season, and resell later.

As we approach another farming season, kindly note that it's possible to make almost 100% of your capital without stepping into the farm.

Just position yourself to buy farm produce at harvest season from farmers, and preserve them against scarcity periods.

You're likely to make more profit than even the farmers. It's not a cliché that price of foods hardly remain the same in Nigeria. It would likely skyrocket
Re: Updated Price Of Farm Produce In Nasarawa State. by davinchi101: 9:10am On Mar 16
THE BEAUTY OF FOOD STORAGE BUSINESS
If you're thinking of a profitable Agribusiness to venture in, then consider this business.

In September 2023, I invested about 170k into groundnut, and and by December, I was already in 60% profit, and today, I'm in over 100%. So imagine I've invested about 5m into it.

Some bought beans at 650-700 in December, and beans is now 1400. That's 100% profit already.

See ehn, for as long as you're dealing with human foods, you can't get it wrong.
