Nvestor02:You said the weak ones should die off?? Seriously? If God be in heaven, let what you say follow you. What's really your gain in all this? Where is your conscience? Where did you get the fact that 80% of the populace don't pay light bill? News flash, subsidy in electricity was removed 3 years ago, has things improved? Let me also give you one fact, contrary to what you said, most Nigerians are exploited and over billed

Nvestor02:It's a crime to look into other families to structure yours. Our country has been self run even before the War....and the people milked out of existence. Wish you factored COVID effects and wat your govt. Did with the proceeds and process. Don't come here unarming yourself with the porridge aroma you savoured passing through another's backyard. The government is the people....yet, over here, is , who are the people......? |

Enjoy Your Regrets In leadership, the number one source of authority is legitimacy, and the first ingredient of legitimacy is integrity. Read that again. A leader without authority is a clown in office. A leader without legitimacy that is product of integrity cannot exercise authority. Civilized societies in the world understand this simple yet fundamental principle of leadership. That is why they will scrutinize to the smallest details anyone who aspire to lead. That is why anyone in leadership position discovered to have integrity deficit will have to go. They understand that a leader without integrity is liability to society. They understand this basic principle of leadership. But not in Nigeria. Never! You that is reading this, there's something you will put on the internet about the president or his deputy, about the security agency, or about the intelligence agencies, they will smoke you out in less than 24 hours. Wherever you are located within the territory of Nigeria, trust me, they will fish you out in less than 24 hours. They have the resources and what it takes. But, kidnappers and other criminal elements are running around free, unhindered in the perpetration of their enterprise. Citizens are at the mercy of criminals. If the president summons those in charge of security and intelligence agencies and gives them the marching orders to fish out the criminals in two weeks or lose their jobs, something will change. But, listen up, he won't do that. He dare not do that. He won't because he can't. He can't because he dare not. You know why? Legitimacy issues. A leader without legitimacy because of integrity deficit cannot issue ultimatum. How? To who? When you rob your way to power, you have legitimate issues. There are those who have a dossier on you, those who have information of your shenanigans. There are things you dare not attempt. This is where I have issues with the idiots who rejoiced as the road that leads to the highest office in the land was blatantly desecrated, because their preferred candidate was "winning." They were too myopic and stupid to understand that everyone is a loser when a man robs his way to power. Completely unable to see the larger picture. There's a video on the internet of a woman addressing the governor of Ekiti state when he visited communities overran by bandits. The woman told the governor who is on the platform of APC: "Your Excellency, we are endangered... they kill us like fowls... this was where the man sat (pointing at a spot) and was instructing everyone to vote APC (the man she was referring to was one of the traditional rulers abducted and murdered in Ekiti state by yet to be apprehended criminals)... Your Excellency, since they abduct and kill our leaders, what is the fate of we ordinary people..." From the woman's lamentations, one of the traditional rulers abducted and murdered desecrated his throne by conducting himself as agent of APC. APC is ruling at the federal level and in his state, yet he was abducted and murdered. His killers are still running around free. Those who should protect the traditional rulers and citizens have integrity issues, there are instructions they cannot give. If you are among the morons who rejoiced as the road to the highest office in the land was desecrated because it favoured your candidate, keep your frustrations to yourself. You or your loved ones are not safe from the calamity that has engulfed the land. But, do us one favour... Enjoy your regrets quietly. #iConicCommunication ©Simon Oladapo. |

So sad! Meaning this fool have no regards for his mother's and brothers that are lamenting the hardship and untimely deaths people have suffered from the misdemeanor of the corrupt Tinubu’s government. This is what warped tribalism does to people - deliberate impairment of judgement. |

Balistic4:Well, that was for overbilling unmetered customers, and the overbilling happens because 1.Power theft, from the rich and poor 2. Non- cost reflective tarrifs. When you run a business where many of your customers are not paying for your service, and your prices are not set by you but by government, and the subsidy government pays does not cover the resulting loss, the only option is to rip off some customers who do pay...to survive. Free markets, yes means things are expensive, but it also means that profits are made and things work well. |

saintrow1:Tribalism is not a crime is something worse its a disease. When you place tribal sentiment ahead of competence and integrity in the face of obvious fact/data. Do you only want, wish and pray that the pilot of your plane, the surgeon to your mom in the ER,driver of your ride must b from your tribe?when you are in these situations do you bother to ask if the person in charge is from your tribe?if you are a sport lover do you bother if the players are from your tribe?why would you want the best players?when school go for competition do they select the best students from a tribe or the best pupil? Tribalism is a disease and its terminal in Nigeria. Why would you want the top job in the land to go to your tribe?why?why don't your want the best among us as the primary criteria that you will use,why use tribe first? |
