Why not simply get the herders back to their respective states of origin and establish cattle settlement for them in their states. This will erase the menace if herder-farmer clash immediately. Farmers, communities and even Fulani themselves can't continue to lose their lives for nothing.

Desertification has turned their homelands of Northern Nigeria into sandy wasteland, so they feel ENTITLED to grab farmland and ripening crops by force of arms all over West Africa.

Jakumo:
Those of us who frequent rural areas of Nigeria and have experienced tense encounters with machete-wielding Fulani herdmen who never hesitate to approach and verbally challenge even those carrying hunter's guns, know first hand that these hungry looking men masqerading as cattle herdsmen have absolutely NO fear of guns and NO hesitance to engage in violent confrontation over land access disputes, be they real or instigated by the Fulanis themselves.

With this utterly fearless, land-grabbing warrior mindset of the Fulani culture foremost in mind, I can state as a matter of absolute certainty that in the near future of less than 3 months, a disproportionately MASSIVE and gratuitously blood-soaked nighttime armed reprisal will be launched by rampaging hordes of vengeful Fulani gunmen, possibly supported by Nigerian federal troops, laying to waste and ruination any or all inhabited farm settlements within a 3-mile radius of the location where the tortured bodies of several Fulani men were discovered. If I were a long-term resident of ANY location in Nigeria where murders of Fulani men have been committed, I would abandon my residence and move FAR away for at least a good calendar year.

You're a useless coward !

Fulani should take their cattle🐃🐃🐃
back to northern Nigeria and stop
causing crisis in other people's land...

They come to people's communities,
allow cattle to destroy farms, go to
water sources and allow the cattle to
enter, urinate & defecate into the water
& if the people complain, the Fulani shoot
or slaughter them.

No sir, this resort to torture and murder of Fulani men will only trigger a CYCLE of massacres and reprisals that will ultimately be quelled when battle-kitted federal troops are deployed to fight alongside and in direct tactical support of the Fulani farmland-grabbers posing as cattle herdsmen.

The Fulani NEVER forget an attack on their kin, but they are methodical and cunning when planning their revenge options, with the only common denominator of those reprisals being that mass sudden death will come calling for unsuspecting people in rural areas AT NIGHT.
If only the indigenes can learn to be vigilant and cunning as the Fulani herdsmen, maybe they can be adequately prepared for any reprisal attack.

I won't call u mugu. God forbid. It's a new year.

But what I will tell u is that u people don't see beyond your tiny noses. You don't even know what's going around in other regions and countries. The fulani terrorists are receiving it hot, bloody and wotowoto, starting from Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ghana, Mauritania, CAR, and surprise surprise, Niger.

These people are no match for people in these countries but came to nigeria, alas, met a horde of lazy, docile, pretentious, weak, over-religious buffoons with no balls of steels.

I don't know whether ure stylishly advocating for a fulani herdsmen reprisal but them born them wella for where the Dogon of Mali dey or the Dagomba tribe of northern Ghana, or the Malinkes of Senegal??

These ones are born rugged and did not let the silly weakness of these foreign religions to contaminate their dna.

If fulani bring 1, they will bring 10! Who born who?! undecided

It is good to hear that Islamic terror is being held back in Senegal, Mali and the Central African Republic, BUT we must bear in mind that the bloodthirsty Russian mercenary WAGNER GROUP is running amok in those countries right now, committing civilian massacres and systematic sexual assaults wherever they go under the guise of fighting terrorists.

One would NOT want Nigeria to become another killing field for the Wagner Group, which would prove to be a fate far worse than even the most pragmatic observer could ever have imagined.

On the night of that incident several local hunters and pple were on guard and probably they are protecting themselves too in case of reprisal attack. If not for government backings if left one on one fulani pple no dey mess around here.

They should get prepared with rapid and continuous shooting guns like AK47 and others because Fulani herdmen have unhindered access to sophisticated weapons.

This cowardly idiot, shut up your big trap ! You certainly don't know what you're saying if you think the Fulani will ever be able to launch any attack that will result in a mass sudden deaths in Yoruba land ! Fulani can only launch a pocket of cowardly attacks here and there in Yoruba land. Should they try that kind of nonsense they do in Benue or Plateau state in any part of Yoruba land, the kind of calamity that will befall them will make Uthman Dan Fodio turn in his grave ! Trust me,you don't want Yoruba people to rise up against Fulani in Yoruba land, the aftermath won't be good!

Now,Coward, shove the fear of the fulani up your throat and crawl back into whatever hole you came out from ! Your objective which is to create a kind of deadly myth around Fulani is dead on arrival. We fear no Fulani here !

One on one, Fulani can't win against their host communities...how many are they? The only problem is that the Fulani herders enjoyed government backing earlier which gave them an edge because they had free use of ammunition which others didn't. Cases reported also ended up in favor of the Fulani regardless of who was at fault.

ESN has proven to be a well oiled machine. They have adequately dealt with the marauding herders to the barest minimum.

What is needed is a promax version of ESN that will go after politicians that undermine IGBO existence and values.

Then...the land will be totally safe.

Terrorists sympathizer did you also tell your fellow terrorists that was tortured and killed like fowl that reprisal attack is coming their way.

What you dont know is that no one has monopoly of violence, unless they disappeared immediately after committing their atrocities, those people in yewa will make them regret coming to this life. That is how they lost all their communities in oyo, their king ran with his tails dangling in between his legs even when their brother was oga at the top.
