Raw materials no change anything.

The factory has machineries that were not produced here. Exchange rate will come in when they need to carry out maintenance

Diesel is 1,300. No be diesel dem go use dey power the factory? No be diesel dem go use fuel the trucks wey go carry cement?

Unless we want make Dangote dey sell raw limestone to us, the increase cannot be evaded.

BUA wey promise 3,500 per bag nko? Why him own sef be 8k?

But it is the same cement he sells cheaper to other countries....

Why is your man tinubu, who is a good president still paying subsidy? I thought he said no more subsidy on his Inauguration Day? Your man keeps proving that he can’t keep to his words. In 1997 he said he doesn’t believe in one Nigeria, yet he still went ahead to campaign for president in the same country he said he doesn’t believe in.

The one he sells there, he produces there.

So before you drag him, look at the cost of production there and here.

Dangote na greedy man normally, but only a suspicious person would not increase in this present economy

Now you see how evil these APC supporters are.

If he isn't getting anything from the loots, he is definitely feeling the heat like the rest of us, but shame won't let him admit it...just like the ones that defends every disaster on this board.

Imagine asking us what our business is with exchange rates...an import dependent economy?

Like tinubu, like shaytun...like the rest of them. Smh
They live and breathe hypocrisy.

Maybe because the economy of other countries are stable , they have electricity and exchange rate doesn't keep jumping each time. And maybe they have price control in those countries too.

What izzou said up there is the sad truth. Most companies like Dangote industry cost everything in dollars; with the way our exchange rate is jumping it is inevitable for prices of their products to remain same in Naira

the funny thing is most of us here are adults with responsbilities
and we know how it goes.

once your income has reduced you will adjust your lifeteyle or be forced to adjust
we did not adjst our lifetyle and now we are being forced to adjust.

others have outlined exactly why we are where we are. if you want to believe there is some sort of magic where our reserves will suddnely grow, our oil production will suddenly jump im all ears

i am not praising him for returning it - but i recognize that with the current state of things, he may have no other choice. unless we want to accelerate the riots everyne is warning about

You're actually making my point for me. The current state of things was known before he even removed it. We had debated it extensively on this thread but he removed it regardless. Everyone knew it was going to end this way.

The current state of things cannot now make him return it. He never cared about it ab initio.

The excuse that we had to cut cost because there was no money does not fly. They are now paying double of what he met when he removed it.

One thing about G.gbola is he tends to find a way to justify anythings BAT's dishes.

He applauded the ill-fated removal and was among the musketeers that tagged him "man with steel ball".

Even when people faulted the abrupt removal without ministers or analysis in place..he was defended

Now we are way worse when it comes to subsidy payment,he is blaming the situation while eulogising the bastard for "eating his shit"using adult IQ as yardstick. ...

If Tinubu removes subsidy again this minute and brings it back by 3.30pm, GloriousGbola will find a way to justify both decisions.

He just can't accept that his candidate can ever be wrong on something, because it means he too is wrong.

A lot of things really happened under Buhari's government sha

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3Z3DY3MswE/?igsh=MTdlaDUyY2o5b295MQ==

Hear Sowore saying arrested Boko Haram commanders were watching Cable TV while in DSS detention and yet they took his own phone ; denied him access to cable TV and news.

Buhari na disaster wey no country deserve Abeg .

Those companies do that because they get major part of their finances from foreign lenders . The facility they get from local commercial banks are minimal.

It's the same story since the election. Tinubu does something, he will be praised. He reverses it, he will still be praised with plenty of excuses. Difficult to understand this logic.

Still won't allow you convert back to dollar. That will be the game changer.
