You would've not needed to declare a fast if you've elected the right leader to lead this nation,it's not every issue that demands fasting and prayer sometimes you need to apply wisdom.

Naija my country!! E go better

We really need to do the right things to fix the Nigerian economy. Come up with the right policies, it’s as simple as that…in addition to prayer. We don’t fold our hands and just be praying. Even the Bible says that Faith without works is dead!

If any new policies are not working, then revert them to the old manageable policy that’s not as bad as the new policy until a better policy is figured out. It is not a ‘defeat’ to reverse a non-working new policy to the old one.

Subsidy was removed without a plan to cushion the effect on the poor masses. Naira was allowed to float without thinking about and working on the factors that can ensure its success.

How can the economy work without the right policies in place and implementation of those policies??
we paid 907billion in subsidies last month. Dey play

This is the contribution of a Nigerian Professor. grin
When I really doubted what some of these professors in Nigeria acclaimed certificates was during the Ebola period when professors of science, microbiology, virology etc, were also advocating that drinking salt water would eradicate the Ebola virus.
Then during the covid period, professor Iwu,another professor of a biological science discipline claimed he had invented a corona virus vaccine within just a month or so that could effectively eradicate the disease. No test on neither on efficacy, safety, not even on rats, talkless of humans.Of course,no sane person took him serious.

We have to pray bcoz Nigeria's problem is spiritual. grin

A country where the people celebrate thugs, thieves, criminals, murderers and corrupt politicians; don't you think this matter requires prayers. grin

God will never come down to govern a state or country. He has already given us common sense and ability to do the right things. As a governor, you’re supposed to do everything possible to ensure that your state is safe and flourishing. The numbers of killers or kidnappers in your state can never be more than the police and army if really you want to eliminate them. Taking a day for prayers will never solve anything. This is just a joke used in deceiving the people.

But they are hunger-fasting already. He should have just told them to do 40 days dry fasting.

Nonsense!

Na so oyibo people dey pray? Even with the proliferation of churches and mosques in Nigeria things still ain't working. They embezzle public funds and enjoy it with their families and advice the gullible masses to pray as if that's what would put food on their table.

Why? Make them no pray? Because you're in a system where things work, you forget the place of God and importance of prayers and call a prayer session nonsense ?

99.999% of what we pray for don't need prayers if we had a functional government.

Revolution is the solution though not fasting and prayers.

Friends Jesus Christ loves y'all and he want you to accept him as your personal lord and saviour by giving your life to Christ, believing in him and repenting of your sins.remember tomorrow might be too late. Shalo

He has always been an idiot... He just managed to mask it with a couple of white elephant projects.

No creativity, no steps to quell insecurity and unemployment, nothing but stealing and asking the people to fast and pray.

...And this is supposed to be an academic Prof.

Now you can see that their education doesn't amount to anything, very useless. grin

Educated illiterates everywhere!

What of the master strategist?

It is his turn to rule.

I don't blame him but the electorate.

Instead of asking for peaceful demonstration until cost of living is restored at least where this government met it you are advising hungry people to go and fast.

Time will come when we will be seeing Buharri as saint.

Do we still have TUC and NLC

Hunger and hardship is now solved by praying and fasting. If this is not incompetence, I wonder what is.
