Today, I was in Bayelsa state to join other respected Nigerians to pay my last respects to the Late Madam Obebhatein Jonathan, the elder sister of my very revered elder brother, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at his country home in Otuoke.

On behalf of my family, I sincerely condole with him and the entire Jonathan family for the huge loss. Madam Obebhatein Jonathan, as a retired teacher, contributed immensely to our nation by playing a pivotal role in our education sector, a very critical area in our national development. May God Almighty, whom it pleased to call her home at this time grant her eternal rest, and grant her beloved mother, President Goodluck Jonathan, and the entire family, the fortitude to bear her sad irreplaceable loss. -PO
