You are not even talking local rice you are talking about imported rice. When rice gets to N200,000 you will know that we have other foods in Nigeria. The policy is working, Nigerians have no business eating imported food unless you are well off….change your eating habits if you are poor. No country feeds it’s poor on imported foods.

I have no sympathy for anyone complaining about the price of imported food or food manufactured with imported raw materials…that is the problem these reforms are designed to solve. Economics is very simple, it’s demand and supply. When the demand falls because the price is too high people will either resort to local rice or alternative local foods like yam…..which is good for our local farmers and our economy.

I don't eat rice anymore, close to 10 years, but my wife and kids eat rice. The majority of people consume rice, so it is a must to talk about it.

And for all the food you listed. Are they not
expensive? How much is a cartoon of Noodles now? Not to mention Yam etc

This days i do go to the market because of my wife conditions but yesterday's market was something else. She was saying thank God im d one that went because going to the market she may break down mentally. I said to myself, this woman think na me go dey go market abi. May she deliver first.

I dont buy at a go.i dey buy from konga when promo set. The rest na 3 to 5 pcs .i get 5 spag wey i never open almost 1month .rice for now na delete. My best food na pancakes with fri3d eggs..sausage..pancake syrub and hot cup of nescafe.if i chop am.i fit chop 8pieces.hunger wont come till the next day evening.and trust me.i must burn all that sugar by early momo jogging by 6am .at least 15k steps .
