Abakpa is the most Populated area in Enugu city but the least developed.

I don't know if Abakpa is bigger than Obiagu but they are the most populated slums in Enugu. Truth is that apart from Independence layout where the government house is and politicians live, the rest of Enugu is unplanned and full of slums. We are just covering the city as old capital of eastern region. But you still see Enugu people attacking Anambra state that is far ahead of them as if Anambra people are their problem. Ever since Anambra state built its own airport, you hardly see Anambra industrialists going to set up anything in Enugu. Currently, there are close to ten medium scale factories being built-in different parts of Anambra state and more are in the pipeline, that may be the cause of envy by these Anambra haters.

The problem of Abakpa Nike is mainly its untarred and dusty roads. It's better planned and more built up than Obiagu.

ABAKPA is not even part of ENUGU capital territory, is just that it's close to the capital.
But even at that it's developed is just like you sending pictures of four corners, amaechi, Garikee and Ugwuaji axis which is also super developed as ENUGU CAPITAL TERRITORY THEY AINT BRO IT'S JUST THAT THEY ARE CLOSER TO THE CAPITAL TERRITORY OF ENUGU.

What then will you say when you see nnewi, abakpa is a well planned city with nice roads, most of them currently under construction.
As l am talking to you businesses are trooping to Abakpa, we have chicken republic about two years ago, Roban stores last year, crunchiest last year, the biggest importer of mini bus came last year and you think such a place is a slum ?

I was born and brought up in Abakpa ie Ugbene. Abeg, we need to evaluate what's slum again.

A lot of work is going on in abakpa currently and businesses are trooping in . Old houses along major roads are now hot cakes as investors are ready to pay any amount to buy and demolish them for their businesses since there is no more empty land along major roads.

Awka and nnewi are the most unplanned town I have ever seen, in Awka you will see ia road bending for a building.
When Peter Obi was governor, he said he has mapped out 500m to plan Awka, Onitsha and nnewi but all na scam.

Abakpa is part of Enugu capital territory Oga, Enugu south, Enugu north and Enugu East local governments make up enugu capital territory, the only state owned hotel, Nike lake hotel is within Abakpa axis , 82 div is in Abakpa, Trans ekulu is within greater Abakpa even far away Ugwuogo is within Enugu capital territory.
