Hard times indeed. I hope whoever’s voted for this man is suffering the most. There was a vis me option who offered real hope and instead, you voted enmasse for this current one who’s making an even bigger mess than we had before. A businessman, Mr Adekunle Ajakaye, said he could not explain how the constant increment in prices of goods and services had not run him out of business.

“I am a regular visitor to Cotonou in Benin Republic and what I encounter anytime I return to Nigeria saddens my heart.

“I satisfactorily eat a piece of roasted turkey, which I buy at a cost equivalent to N200 but the same cannot even buy a common piece of fried fish in Nigeria.

“We buy goods with ease in Cotonou but we cannot sell them peacefully here in Nigeria,” Ajakaye said.

Big piece of chicken for N200 equivalent in Benin republic but ten times that in Nigeria.
As a Lagosians experiencing the hard times, calmly go food camping in Benin republic and come back fattened. No need to shout.

Garri is the latest wonder in Nigeria. A basin of garri is now #17,000. The same basin of garri I bought #2,500 last year and late last year I bought it #7,000, January I bought it #11,000 but today, it's now #17,000. Garri one of the cheapest commodities in Nigeria before. Whoever do us this in Nigeria need to be begged, sacrificed on and atoned. Things getting worse everyday and some people are comfortable with it on the hope it shall get better. The same song we've been singing for decades, even during OBJ's regime but rather getting worst.

Beans that was N1500 last week is now N2K.
Fish wey be N700 before is now N1200.
Basic things wey I dey buy now cost.
Na to go n marry a rich man remain now and least he go dey take care of me!
