It's actually because of lack of money (they are not fixing the same things).

They don't have money to fix/maintain everything at once, so they are doing it bit by bit.

also i am not sure you can fix all the parts at the same time. a bridge is a much more complex structure than a simple road

Don't worry they don't go for buses. They usually go for cars.

If you are in staff bus no need to complain. Just sleep until you reach your destination. AC, wide chair,you are already fine.

Exactly. If you look at that Carter bridge or 3rd mainland bridge in early in the morning, you'll see broken glass on the road. Those are evidences of robbery. They would break the side window and rob the driver.

Their targeted victims are usually women, or men who are alone in the car. If you're above 2 in the car, they won't rob you.

Please does anyone know if the bridge is still partially open to road users?
