If fund isn't an issue, I would suggest u get an additional 300watt panel of same rating and do 3s3p, moreso if it's certain that u won't be upgrading in the future, then 6mm cable is sufficient else 10mm will be fine going into the future of adding additional 300watt x 6panels
Thanks sir

I don't understand what you mean by dry cell having 70-80% dod.
All I know is that all lead acid batteries, whether dry cells or wed cells have 50% dod.
It's only lithium that have 80% dod.

So even tubular ba3 have 50% Did?

Yea, I've got 3 batteries at 3 different occasions and they all didn't even last one week. They sell fake and I'm tired of wasting money.

mctfopt:

Check any local market that sells things like electronic parts, fan repair area for these batteries.

Thanks for your response. So, I don't have the 550watts panel yet, I only have 300 watts.. I'm only trying to increase my panels, so I was thinking if I could use 550watts alongside the existing 300watts.

Hello house.. I trust we are all doing good and I must salute every solar energy professional and users in this forum for their contributions. I've learnt a lot being here.

Please I would like to ask if anyone knows where I can get very durable batteries for rechargeable fans. I need a 12v7.5A, 6V4.5A. this is very urgent.

Either ready made or DIY, as long as it'll be durable. Thank you all for your contributions.
Go and buy keke napep batteries.
They will serve better.
Those battery you are looking for doesn't worth the price they are call.

The only disadvantage is some times, the fan may not cover well

Would suggest buying Lithium batteries, rather than those readyMade replacement batteries meant for fans.

For longer operating time, battery with spec 12v7.5A, 6V4.5A would barely give you up to 6-hours continuous usage. You need something of higher Amperage. Hope say you copied specs from the battery's label, and not from the body of the Fan.

if going with battery of higher amperage, kindly pair it with external charger because, most times, the Fan's internal charging ciircuitry does a poor job of recharging it's followCome battery which is iften low, let alone one with higher amperage.

As for Lithium battery source, would suggest buying from @Valto so that if wahala dey, we go hear upDate. He seems to have earned some people's trust though...

Yes you could. Just have it at back of your mind that the 550w Solar Panel would operate at capacity of 300w Solar Panels, most e specially when in series.

If you're yet to own the 550w Solar panel, would suggest you don't bother buying it at all, and instead, go for 2pcs of 300w Solar panels so it matches better with your existing Solar panels.

e get reasons I rarely recommend Solar Panels higher than 300w but no ask me. You're free to guess though

You're right. @Edrizz is probably mistaken or misInformed . Major difference between Dry & Wet (Tubular) batteries is, Tubular batteries are more rugged (durable) than the Dry/Gel Ones, but that comes at a cost (maintenance & higher price tag)
