Did he buy just the pump or the complete assembly?

Yours could be a faulty idle system.

Can u explain this further. What do u mean by updated part number? Do u have an idea whats d price is?

Shut down that engine immediately. Your car has an oil pressure warning lamp which can result in catastrophic engine damage should you continue driving it with that light on (assuming your oil pressure sensor is okay and the wire is connected to the sensor).

Check your oil level. It's probably low.

It can be a low RPM on idling or it can be a starting sensore failure. But best bet neet tocbe diagnose physically to actually know what wrong.

We scanned it already and there is no error and i serviced the gear in a october last year to be precise. It just started this issue and my mechanic already changed the coil and clean the fuel pump but the issue still persist.


Now another mechanic I was referred to said he will have to tap the gear or service it again. Don't really know what to do and confused.

Will need the gurus to help on this and how to fix it

Can't advise on this unless a physical inspection by a competent technician who knows what he's doing checks it.

This need to be diagnose physically seems the car is loosing power while driving it can actually be an electrical error or it can still be the fuel pump.but i dought it the gear box sha.

You've blown a head gasket, just hope you haven't cracked the block to cause the whitish smoke. That engine must be torn down, and carefully inspected to check if the block is cracked or not, and then the engine top also checked if it's flat.

Faulty Idle Air Control Valve (IACV): This valve regulates the engine's idle speed. If it's dirty or malfunctioning, it can cause stalling, especially when coming to a stop.
Vacuum Leak: Leaks in the intake system can disrupt the air-fuel mixture, leading to stalling.
Sensor Issues: While the mechanic didn't find any codes, some sensor malfunctions might not trigger a check engine light. A faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) could be sending incorrect signals to the engine computer causing stalling.

Your mechanic was right to have changed the pump and filter.. but since it still giving same issue take it him and ask him to look out for these things..

Faulty sensor: A malfunctioning sensor like the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or crankshaft position sensor can send incorrect signals to the engine computer, causing stalling. While a scan might not have picked it up initially, a more thorough inspection by the mechanic might be necessary.
Idle air control valve (IAC): This valve regulates air entering the engine at idle. If it's dirty or faulty, it might not be able to maintain the proper air-fuel mixture for smooth idling, leading to stalling.
Vacuum leaks: Leaks in the intake system can disrupt the air-fuel mixture, causing stalling.
Electrical issues: Wiring problems or a failing crankshaft position sensor could be sending erratic signals and causing the engine to stall.

I have gotten an expert to stop the crack from progressing. My worry is Should I just go ahead and change the glass or I'm safe. Its a slight crack though and I'm livid with the reality that such would require that i shell out a lot of cash for a complete replacement.
