I don’t know why I am not a big fan of that Martinez guy

I prefer his striking partner Thuram. That guy is good and underrated

I said it before
Bannedxlarge is the biggest self jinx i have ever seen

Every time bro talks shit of osimhen is when osimhen performs the best

From now on, once he drops his nonsense takes on osimhen instead of arguing with him, I go play osimhen to score for sporty grin grin

Jinx my nyash. Point of correction, I never said that osimehn is a bad striker or isn’t world class. My only issue with osimehn is that he doesn’t perform or score at big games/do or die matches I.e vs Ghana wcq or ANC Final. Congratulations on his performance today. Also, this slowpoke omitted that part.

I don't even wanna imagine this version of Osimhen back in France. It'll just be too easy.

The same Ekong was fizzled out and ready to announce his retirement but Alex Iwobi and Leon Balogun said NO….came back stronger but has to play through pain with a coach who make substitutes on player request sometimes despite having 25 man list.

Ekong is out
Sanusi is out
Aina is struggling
Osimhen and Onyeka were used like kilode

Saying this now is a taboo cuz the team reached Afcon final.

WC qualifiers is going to be tensed so need for Peseiro to manage our players fitness well.
Saying it is not a taboo. The point is that if he had subbed those players (and in the face of injury that is the proper thing to do) and we lost, una go still blame am. Even if he explains that he changed because some players were injured, he'd still be blamed.

He may still make it to 15-20 league goals this season
That's the quality and consistency he possesses..
He will make it to 15 nah, that one is for sure.

Oga Kog! lol! I am shocked that you believe this POAK suing NFF nonsense.
I am also surprised that in trying to make home your point you are being economical with the truth.

1) The same Paserio released Sadiq and Boniface cos of injuries.
2) The same Paserio decided to change his formation rather than play Alhassan through injuries.
3) The same Paserio rested the same Ekong and Sanusi in matches they were declared unfit to play-- Guinea Bissau and South Africa respectively. Against Cameroon and the final, Sanusi did not play the full 90 minutes.
Finally, at football level there have been numerous examples of clubs/NT playing players through injuries. Many!

However, Nigeria is one of the countries that tried as much as possible to maintain communication with our players clubs to create a thriving environment for them at their various clubs.

The Algerians insisted on having Bennacer though not fully fit and played him! The Senegalese same with Sarr!
Baresi was injured in USA 94. He came in the final and played through the injury. Not supporting it oo just buttressing your point. Don't we all remember how Beckam received rushed medical treatment just so he could play in 2002 WC having sustained injury few weeks to the start of the WC.

I'm hearing JPesiro has declined on extending a contract offer and has quit as coach.

Good news for me, argue as you wish but the man rode his luck on pure cowardice football and on the back of sheer patriotism from the boys than any managerial "genius" on his part, his decision to not only play unfit players, but also play the most cowardly display of football ever managed by a Nigerian team in an AFCON FINAL affirmed my reasons why this guy just had to go.

Enough of these foreign journeymen coaches, if we can't get a decent enough foreign coach, then let Amunike (who looks to be the likely candidate to take over the team) step up with Finidi ASAP.
Na so. Small time now we'd start hankering for Jpes

Osimhen actually scored a 4th goal but it was rightfully ruled offside.

What a wonderful night for Osimhen! This is what we love to see.

I really like that VO9 is keeping up his goal scoring. Even if Napoli regress this season, it will be good for him to get 20+ goals in all comps. I think he should be on 13 in all comps now. 18+ in the league should be attainable for him. Just keep improving and ensure his head is in the game
