If we calculate affordability of gas based on minimum wage. Nigeria has cheaper gas based on minimum wage because you can afford more liters of gas with an hour's minimum wage compared to Ivory Coast which has the highest minimum wage.

People in Nigeria can afford more liters of gas with an hour's minimum wage compared to Ivory Coast.

What volume.of oil does Ghana produce ?

These analytics are dodgy statistics released from APC satanic head quarters that do not reflect the true extent of issues. How many of these nations floated their currenxy against foreign exchange the same time removed petroleum subsidy while increase customs tariff at the same time ?

Nigger, please
What volume to their population... They are producing yes or No ... You saying they are not makes you what ... Eyin wer*y

Do those countries have the same people to feed as Nigeria? Are our population comparable? In some cases we are 10 times more in population, so let's be fair in our criticism. Let's. be constructive .
what does population has to do with minimum wage? you guys behave as if you're sick in the brain. more population should be an advantage not a disadvantage. most of the countries with low minimum wages are those with low population.

Ok

Nigeria can now raise its petrol price to N2,300.

All these African Countries are still buying the cheaper petrol smuggled from Nigeria.
And it is a biigg pity.
2300 what? is like you want thunder to fire you.

Your vast population without an equivalent productivity should be a reason Nigeria should be buried in shame.
You have the population
you have the resources
you have the land mass

yet all of these cannot amount to income

gross shame!
exactly the claim population is a disadvantage, but yet all countries with more population than us are doing far better i mean far better. there are more poor countries with small population than poor countries with large population

And what’s the population of Ghana?
The higher the population of a country the higher the criminalities, insecurities and high handed and high level political and economic saboteurs. 8 years is too much to make a powerful cartel to form, operate and have a well grounded formation. Let alone a country that’s raised criminals since 1999. It will take years for serious govt and it’s successors to clear the mess to a reasonable level.

Corruption thrives in Nigeria because of everyone, no exclusion. People that we trust so much even got to positions and still misbehave.

People trusted Adeleke of Osun so much. What’s he doing in that state today?

Even the one that’s doing well while there will be bastardized, talked down at and still not being given his flowers. I remember how much people abused Obj,Gej and Yaradua.

Anyone who knows how and the reasons each government was toppled during military era will understand what politics and citizens are.

Nigeria needs tested leaders like Mimiko of Ondo.

People want Nigeria to be like America but an average individual don’t think like an American. Is it not an individual that will find himself or herself in the position of power?
so why other countries with larger population dont suffer the things you mention anywhere close to Nigeria. huh i dont know what you have to defend that....?

I don't know why some of you reason like illiterates despite that you have internet by your side. By your logic a country with high population should have high minimum wage. Do China and India have the largest minimum wages ? No, small counties like Finland and Belgium has higher minimum wages than China and India. India has similar minimum wage as Nigeria, Belgium with the third highest minimum wage is not up to Lagos in population (11+m). Small countries like Belgium, Netherlands , Ireland's has higher minimum wages than US. So, get educated, a family with 2 children with likely live better than a family with 10children because of their lower liabilities. The highest poverty in Nigeria is in the north today because of their many almajiri children.

Re: PMS Price Per Litre In Nigeria & Some African Countries - StatiSense by sharone21(f): 7:07am On Mar 01, 2024
The Naira seems cheaper because Naira is grossly devalued when compared to the dollar.

What is the use of this statistics when in reality eg Intra city transport fare in Cameroon is same as Nigeria's while Inter State transport fare is cheaper.... Imagine distance from Bafoussam to Yaounde, same as Lagos to Asaba or Onitsha is 3500frs on non peak days eg Tue, Wed and Thurs and 5000frs on peak days.

Also more power supply, u hear Cameroonians shouting they dont have light even with 18hrs light on days probably maintenance or Amba boys are striking(eg 10 hrs light) in Anglophone areas and these are rare. While we thank God in Nigeria when PHCN flashes light and meter is N83500 unlike 4000-8000frs in Cameroon which is sold in any electrical store.

APC and propanganda. Pls Nigerians boot them out in the next election.

see you're the pure illiterate here, bringing family comparison. Obi Cubana has 5 kids so are you better than him with your 0 kids. ?

Google it, the Us have far more higher minimum wage than Finland, and Belgium and Netherlands.

And no India have far more minimum wage than Nigeria. Theirs is around $200. Nigeria is just $20.

All those with higher population all earn more. Let's not even talk of infrastructure

Claiming that the population causes low minimum wage is one of the stupidest thing ever. Somalia Is only 17 million but earn lowest minimum wage than nigeria. Georgia same thing with only 10 million.

bro all this things you're mentioning are not needed. they say nigeria earns $76 as minimum wage, i just close the site. there is no correlation between population and minimum wage.

all those with more population than us all have better minimum wage, lower unemployment rates and lastly higher standard of living.

poverty leads to overpopulation not the other way round. or are you saying that those with high mimum wage have low population and vice versa...?

gambia is only 2.5 million but earn low wages than south africa with 50 million. nigeria population skyrocketed in recent years. as the poverty grew so did the popluation. it grows at a rapid rate yearly. this isnt the same for some advanced countries.
