Eguavon should do better this time around after all he went to the 2021 AFCON with the 2nd team of SE without the likes of Ekong and Oshimhen and he won all his games in the group stage b4 luck was against him against Tunisia.

They should have appointed Amunike. Amunike proved himself as a player, playing for Zamalek, Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona. He also proved himself as a coach when he took Osimhen, Chukwueze & Co to win the U17 World Cup, and then took lowly Tanzania to the Nations Cup.

Austen Eguavon lacks modern day tactics in modern day footballing warfare

Eguavon ought to have developed himself to meet the demands of modern techniques in coaching. Judging from his past, he lacks the cutting edge skills to coach the SE.
It's a shame that coaches in Nigeria are not trying at all. I was surprised to see how an indigenous coach turned things around in Cote D' Voire and won the AFCON for the Ivorians when the foreign coach was sacked for sub optimal performance. A good and experienced coach can seriously impact on the success of a team, in addition to having quality players. The chances of success is more with a good coach. I saw it in Ivory Coast.
Eguavon needs to wake up and stop presenting himself as a part-time coach.

They should make him permanent coach. We don't value our own thing here. All these foreign stuff is scam. There are local players that can do better than all these so called international players so that no access to media. Who can know that nwabali is a good homebased goal keeper
