Some are lucky to get approval. I know of someone who was rejected.

My take: Register/pay for another conference and update to your profile.
Look for similar conference, if it's in petroleum and gas. Look for in same sector

Canada doesn't take both flight and hotel reservations into consideration when approving a TRV application. Otherwise, they'd not be approving visas after the event you planned to attend in their country is long expired. Their seemingly endless processing time, which they're quite aware of, is another reason they don't take cognisance of the aforementioned.

So if the event you plan to attend in their country is expired can they still approve your visa

Yes,100% . You didn't cause the delay, they did and they know it so, it won't affect the outcome of your visa at all, if you qualify for the visa you applied for

Your application won't be rejected if your planned programme or event you wanted to attend is over. Canada will still approve your visa if you qualify for one, anytime they process your application.

Good day guys ! I merged my supporting documents on Ilovepdf.com , then compressed the merged document but I still have more than 2MB ... Is there anything else I could do or perhaps any way to compress this file even further ?

Thanks a lot of your suggestions.

If they are pictures, first reduce the size of the pictures first before converting them to pdfs. Google how to reduce the size of a picture by reducing its resolution. If they are text-based document, then convert those documents into pictures first, then do what I just mentioned.

Hello house, good morning and happy Sunday to you all. I will traveling to Canada on visitors visa by May 2024 and I would like to know the likely questions to be ask at Port of entry. A lot of person are beginning to scare me saying one should delay asylum at the port because of the the questions at YYZ airport.

Another question is must everyone declare asylum at the port of entering?

Hi, i totally understand you and your statement is true, the companion is not for me but my mum.
It is the first time she will be traveling such a distance and she and I will rest easy knowing someone is assisting her with reading the signs and locating her gates.
Now, back to my question, are you traveling on the 22nd of May to Winnipeg with Air France? Thanks.
