Hi,
First of thanks. It is for my mum who will be traveling to the first time to Canada and I want a travel buddy for her
I need someone that will assist her in locating her gates since she has never travelled to Canada before.
If your cousin is willing, please let me know. Again, thank you.

Eriokanmi:
Hello, my cousin is, but on the condition that:

You don't have excess luggage to carry
You don't have any suspicious (not necessarily contraband) item you're carrying

That you're the only one travelling.

The reason I asked those questions are simple. Someone was introduced to me sometime ago. She was going for her master's degree. She had relations in Canada but had never travelled before so I was asked to help out since we're traveling along same route. I accepted cos of her aunt's kindness to us at home.

We met at the airport. Come and see luggage like someone running away from home. She also had 2 kids, lots of orishirishi packed in luggage. I started becoming a courier assistant right from the airport, yanking off my suit to help out. We landed safely and I was still same person who assisted her in taking her luggage off the carousel one after the other. I wheeled them out for her to take a cab to her location.

If you're not in that lady's description, fine. I'd ask him and revert

If you don't hear from them after 5 months from the day of biometrics, then you can email them to inquire about your application. Right now, it's too early to start worrying about an application that's still within the processing time frame.

You can also use the link below to track your application.

https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/

good evening brother it’s been more than 5 months since I applied I have even requested for my gcms note which landed last and the application is still processing but each time I try to use this ircc tracker it doesn’t go beyond the next step button, it will just reload and nothing more please how do I track it as I don’t have login details only my agent does, he also didn’t use my email to apply as i have not been getting mails

Order for ur mum wheelchair and mobility assistance is a service designed to aid elderly or disabled passengers as they navigate through the airport and board the aircraft and it free. With this service, your mother will be among the first to board the plane. Additionally, during transit, a dedicated assistant will be waiting to help her move to her next boarding gate and ensure she boards the plane smoothly. Similarly, upon arriving in Canada, she will receive assistance with everything, including passing through immigration and handling her baggage, until she is safely handed over to you. It's important to give her a piece of paper with your contact details on it, so you can be called to meet her at the exact entrance of the airport.

Hello house, good morning and happy Sunday to you all. I will traveling to Canada on visitors visa by May 2024 and I would like to know the likely questions to be ask at Port of entry. A lot of person are beginning to scare me saying one should delay asylum at the port because of the the questions at YYZ airport.

Another question is must everyone declare asylum at the port of entering?

All response will be appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

With the way you are asking this questions i beleive your mind is made up to declare Asylum,
But i will advice you not to do it,visit ,enjoy yourself, sightsee very well and return back to Nigeria, built up your travelling status, apply for US,Uk ,shenagen Visa,,and you can travel to any part of the world as you wish

Order wheelchair assistance for your mum. Don't trust a stranger with you mum. What if the stranger stashes contraband in her bag nko?

Hi, i totally understand you and your statement is true, the companion is not for me but my mum.
It is the first time she will be traveling such a distance and she and I will rest easy knowing someone is assisting her with reading the signs and locating her gates.
Now, back to my question, are you traveling on the 22nd of May to Winnipeg with Air France? Thanks.

Tell your Mum to ask for airport assistance. They will escort her every where. If you booked her ticket that option is there with the airline. They will wheel her around at each airport. Check her ticket and add airport assistance.

Please, when having a stop over to any European country, don't let your stop be more than 1. If you are having more than 1 stop in any European country, then you may require a transit visa, except if this rule has changed

For instance, if you are taking air France, sometimes, they have 2 stops...Paris and Schipol(Amsterdam). For you to be eligible to fly on this ticket, you must have a transit visa because it has more than 1 European country stop over.

Stick to the airlines listed for you earlier but ensure your stop in ANY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES ISN'T MORE THAN ONE.

Try to avoid Ethiopian airline because I've heard series of cases where passengers (especially Nigerians) trying to board en route to Canada from Adisababa had issues because they were on visist visa. My friends and families have used Air France, Qatar, KLM and Lufthansa airlines perfectly well on visit visa without issues.

Again, just stick to one "stop over" flight if you are using any European airline (KLM, Air France and Lufthansa)

If you are using Qatar, avoid putting any liquid in your hand luggage, even to toothpaste because they might trash it in Doha before boarding to any of your destination. Put whatever liquid you have (no matter how small like your smallest finger) in your bigger bags(23kg luggage). Don't bring it on board with you.

Thanks for the information

Thank you for your response. I have tried doing that with my UCI and Application number but it wasn't going through.

Hello everyone. Thank you for all the information provided for me to track my application. Thankfully I got heads through and I was able to create a tracker. The tracker states the application status is closed. However, the background check is in progress while eligibility is completed.
I guess I will have to keep waiting.

Closed means your application is done with. Either approved if you got a passport request or your application was refused case closed. You have been refused a visa.

Meaning you used an agent for your application.

Case closed on tracker means decision has been reached on your application.

Most likely you have been refused.

Hello everyone, please I need your inputs on something i've been trying to clarify on behalf of my sister. She's currently in the UK, and she submitted an application for both Canada work visa and Canada PR while still in the UK. She already has a visiting visa, and Here are my questions:
1) She did her medicals last week for the work visa, and this week she got medical request for the PR. Can she use the same biometrics and medicals for both work visa and PR?
2) She wants to travel to Canada on visiting visa this week, while still awaiting approval for the work visa. Can she submit her passport in Canada for her work visa, even if she applied in the UK?
Thank you all for your inputs.
