IBEDC Is the company they need to focus on.

They will restore power for like 10hrs a month so they can justify their estimated billing of almost 10k minimum.

They know they can't bring bill if they don't supply power for entire month so they quickly resore for like 2hrs a week.

In addition to begging them, you guys would probably spend some time in Police detention.

Any smart manufacturer now should be planning on how to relocate their plant to Aba now. Anyone that allows their brand to go extinct when they have viable alternative in Aba will only have themselves to blame.

I wish we could have it such that the three lines on electric poles will belong to three different companies. Line 1 is EKODC, Line 2 is IKEDC, and Line 3 is Jenjis Khan DC.

One can have the three lines connected to his/her prepaid meter. If EkODC chooses to be unfortunate, just switch to IKEDC. The competition will be too loud. This idea of one Disco controlling a whole area is one of the reasons they are being complacent.

Federal Government be telling all sort of lies. Which Discos reject power allocation? Dey play! Power from the grid has been shortfall lately Infact, discos are inhibited to take more power. Shortage of gas to Gencos to generate enough power has been the recent problem of poor electricity supply. Don’t let government fool you with their propaganda

They enjoy 23hours light
But Nigerians enjoy 2 hrs light per day

We all go dey alright
you should be happy you get 2hrs per day. In a week the total power supply is not more than an hour . At times they will just biring it for 5 mins or flash it then that's all for the whole week.

They finally gave us light o. Saturday morning after being in darkness for 2days. The light itself lasted for about 1:45mins and that was all for Saturday.
Brought light again around 4am on Sunday, took the light around 9am, and we are so sure it will be till Monday.

Nairaland no go kee person with laugh 😂😂

The irony is that this useless IBEDC people went around on that Saturday morning to disconnect even though the light came and lasted for just 1hr plus after 2days of darkness.

Now,we have made a resolve, anytime they come for disconnection again, we'll beat the he'll out of them. THEY ARE NO LONGER 'GOVERNMENT PICKIN'. The Discos are now private entities.

The transformers, the poles, the wires were all bought by us, everything even when it was still PHCN. So they have no authority over them.

After beating them and inflicting enough injuries on them, we'll go and beg them after like 2weeks, but the fact is that we have beating them. That will put some sense into their useless head.

It's a shame that we are still struggling to generate and distribute paltry 4000Mw.

Something is fundamentally wrong with the black man. He lacks the capacity to govern himself and bring development to his environment.

Shame!

IBEDC IS THE WORST EVER ON THIS LIST.
• They bring the light for just 5mins and that’s it for the day.
• In a week they can give you light for just 2days and that’s just 2hrs highest.
• They don’t even listen to anyone, Check their X handle and you will confirm yourself.
• They play with the light, they flash it like 3-5 times and then that’s it for the day.

IBEDC is the worst on this trust me. Ask anyone living in Ibadan they will tell you.
The worst thing about it is that, No one even talks about it. No one…

You spoke the truth. They didn’t bring light at all. Up til now, No light on Sunday. And now it’s Monday Morning and guess what, No light. 🤣

The question is why has power gone so bad to the stage...

Buhari gov which we taught was worst... Nigerians enjoy on the average 18hrs power.. but today.. you must be living next to a local chairman or ex minister to enjoy 2 hrs a day..

Something is not right atall

Sometimes.. he just feels like they won this election for a purpose... and the purpose is to show Average Nigerians pepper for no reason

It is economic sabotage,I knew that once dangote refinery starts refining, they will frustrate power supply.
If there is steady power supply, who will buy Dangote's PMS and diesel?

People will buy. That's not the issue. People have cars so they'll buy. Also, he can export to African countries or even abroad.

Those oil producing nations, don't they have stable electricity? Does it prevent the refineries there from making gain?
