Hydrogen sulphide gas is a poisonous, corrosive and flammable gas, it displaces oxygen and it is mostly found in deep well tanks with stagnant water etc, at 0.01ppm it smells like rotten egg, between 500ppm to 1000ppm(parts per million) once inhaled it's instant death no recovery, that's why wells are tested before entry is commenced.
