The frustration of wanting to be something and being in a society that works on a different level is contradictory.. you wan go left, your brain deh right, your soul deh intermingle, your being is out of control, you drift and las las succumb to the old age remedy.. do anything to forget or do anything to make you believe more than reality is presenting you. At the of the day. You jonz.. it’s not just about economy anymore, the human soul yawns for something more than this idea of consumption and materialistic illusions, you will be happy now 15 minutes later you are depressed.. such is the new way of life most people cope with now a days

It’s a Gen Z issue. Kids were raised with electronic devices in their hands before they learned to socialize. Now they handle any emotional setback the way recluse do, despite having a network of family members to lean on. A minor demerit to humans being more knowledgeable than their ancestors. I see nothing wrong.

Possibly the children of parents who have no access to loot public funds. Cause once children are used to ice cream it is difficult for them to accept garri.

Depression and Nigerian Teenagers??..Lol.
Whoever conducted the diagnosis needs to be diagnosed as well. Nigerian teenagers these days are after money and expensive lifestyle, when it becomes hard to get, they become sad and moody. The Nigerian teenagers definition of "depression" is the lack of an iPhone, Girlfriend, a car and lots of money to throw around. Na from 24 years upward dem go begin reason well. Tell me why a 15 year old should be craving a phone worth 2metre when he/she isn't putting in work, school you no wan go, oya go learn skill, you say no.
