Day 43 1 mortality (403 Birds remaining)

Today, we deworm the birds. I would have preferred using a liquid based dewormer but it's all good. Piperazine is also excellent for the job.

Birds doing excellently well.

Their consumption for now is still pegged at 1bag per day. i.e, that's N13,500 daily apps. (E shoke) lol

My personal opinion if you asked me would be Broilers. Trust me, with layers, it could get boring and tiring after awhile. Broilers gives immediate results which further encourages you.

Fowl Pox vaccination.
Jabbing the 405 chicks was indeed one of the most tiring thing i have done so far. I just couldn't wait to get to the last one.
I may or may not repeat the vaccination again jare... dem no fit kee me.

Secondly, you can meet up with these noodle vendors (aboki selling indomie) and get them to patronize you

Not a thing for the weak in heart my dear and definitely not a good venture for a newbie at the moment....
My candid opinion, if you haven't done it before, now is actually not the best time, don't follow trend, follow tide.

There friend, note that there has never been a good time to start any business including layers farming, Nigeria is full of uncertainty, the best time to start any business is NOW course there will never be a perfect or good time to start a business, let your passion drive you tru, just start small and grow from there

Going beautifully well. Apart from the every minute changes in prices of the feeds, I think every other thing is going according to projections. Hopefully, I will be uploading some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. The price of DOC has gone up too. The inflation in the country affect almost all commodities.
