bros, in 2003 where was Oshiomhole? Shaibu contested for the HOA in 2003 but lost, in 2007 he recontested under the then Action Congress and won, Oshiomhole only joined politics in 2007 when he came to contest for the governorship position. For Shaibu to have contested for HOA in 2003 means that he has been in politics even before then. He was closer to the people in Edo North and his LG that was what gave him the impetus to try to represent them in the HOA in 2003, as at then Oshiomhole was still NLC president and wasn't popular in Edo state politics up until 2007 when Tinubu backed him to contest for Governorship from the opposition. I will forgive you because then you were not born so you wouldn't have the facts.
