A good Nigerian lady found herself in a legal battle after rushing a cleaner, who fainted, to the hospital. The incident unfolded when the lady, a health worker, witnessed the cleaner collapse and immediately took action to get her medical help.

Despite not knowing the cleaner personally, the lady believed it was her duty to assist and swiftly transported her to the hospital. However, upon arrival, the situation took a distressing turn. When asked to provide details for the cleaner's medical folder, she explained she was not acquainted with the patient and therefore couldn't offer the required information.

To her shock, the medical director of the hospital allegedly accused her of assaulting the cleaner. Authorities were called, and the lady was arrested and charged with assault.

Taking to Twitter to share her ordeal, she expressed her disbelief at the situation. She revealed that despite the cleaner now being conscious and refuting any claims of assault, she is still facing legal repercussions.

Who did the arrest is the problem here. Incompetent and myopic enforcement officere disgracing and contributing to the "snap & post" rather than help situation of first aid in the country.

I heard a story about a man that passed an accident scene while he was in his car not knowing 1 of his immediate family member(I can't remember the exact person whether wife or daughter) was inside the bus

He was later called to come identify and pick his person.

All this Almighty people should always rem there's someone big and greater than them. it myt be his family tomorrow and if people pass without rendering assistance, he shouldn't blame Nigeria but himself because after reading this post am sure many people Go don register waka pass any victim so they don't fall victim themselves

First, Epilepsy is NOT "transferrable" as you claimed.

Second, people loose their lives because of lack of immediate help, hence the reason for FIRST AID. Pray you never fall victim.

The lady did the right thing. I would do exactly what she did in a heartbeat. There are organizations that would love to take up her case and even get her compensated by the hospital.

She would be vindicated after all; the lady who collapsed has refuted every claim of assault. What 70% of the people who read her message got is to not help someone in such a distress situation. Meanwhile her case is rear.

This ideology would be different if you had a loved one with the ailment.. it's not contagious they just can't control their muscles at that point and they require help so they don't jerk or fall into something that can physically harm them..
