DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT START PLANNING YOUR OWN INDEPENDENT ELECTRICITY PROJECT.

Governor Otti of Abia state recently commissioned a geometric power generating plants in Aba, Abia state.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori can take a cue and establish Delta state Independent plants.

Ex-governor James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, and Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa all failed Delta state during their time despite having the lion share of federal allocations.

They were interested in embezzling Delta state federal allocations for their own selfish consumption.

The resources for generating electricity is available in Delta state.

There is gas supplies, crude oil, even solar.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, ( Delta state governor ) should not shy off from electricity.

He has done the right thing by being the first governor in Delta state to give contract to Julius Berger.

He can do more by looking at the power sector.

Lack of regular electricity is affecting small scale industries in Delta state.

The bigger companies like Hotels are suffering as they are paying so much to buy diesel to power their generating plants.

DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT WILL DERIVE INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUE FROM POWER.

THE TINUBU ADMINISTRATION HAS GIVEN STATE THE AUTHORIZATION TO START GENERATING THEIR ELECTRICITY.

WHAT ARE GOVERNORS WAITING FOR?

More initiatives like this will see us out of the underdevelopment that has been synonymous with Nigeria.

Other states need to wake up and follow suit as electricity is one of the engine rooms that propels industrialisation.
