I think he lived a fulfilled Life, he emptied all he had( potentials / virtues)to achieve his goal despite his predicament, it is good to exit this world, after emptying yourself of all you were created to for the betterment of yourself and humanity ,it is better to go to the graveyard empty than carrying all your potentials, virtues etc to the graveyard
