I agree. Some may perceive impropriety, but if you base that standard throughout the Legal system where does it end? Can a Trump appointed Judge hear Trump cases. There is a more disturbing perception of impropriety. What about an ex Trump appointed Special Prosecutor, who works for a big law firm that does a lot of Work for Republicans and where a lot of Republican Judges (like Judge Cannon) are picked from who was appointed to look into whether Biden broke the law with his classified documents? Is there a perception of impropriety there? I may agree with that standard, but it should be applied consistently and fairly throughout the system. And if it were it would probably break the system as we know it.

I haven't read the ruling. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Judge here assuaged/massaged the law trying to split the baby in the middle. That's what the pressure of Trump world does to the law.

It's not the term Ipob. It's using Ipob as a pejorative for Ibo.
Ex. Instead of saying "you fuckign Ibo idiot" you instead say "you fucking Ipob idiot" or "you fucking Ipob". The intent is the same.
If someone wants to talk about Ipob go for it. It shouldn't give one license to use the term to denigrate all Ibos.
