When will the army revenge over the killings of their colleagues in the north or are they afraid of northerners?
You're more than stupid..
Army are human before becoming a uniform man.
How can killing of our military men who all came from diverse backgrounds be a competition.
They're human not animals.

But delta youths really had the audacity to massacre soldiers on peace mission.

This is why people should not tolerate and support criminals in their domain, they will later turn to monsters and bring unimaginable disaster to all and sundry, No development will come to such place as well

Rest in peace to our gallant soldiers and officers.

Stvpid peace keeping mission. Nigerian military had no business meddling with communal disputes. There is too much illegality going on in Nigeria.

In as much as I condemn this senseless and provocative killings , the army should also react when their men are killed in the northern part of the country .

This event bears a Hallmark of failed intelligence operations that required this unit of the army to go in....... They could have easily coordinated with the navy or reached out to leaders with leverage such as tompolo.....

But inexperience have caused more casualty..... The creeks is the most dangerous place for any security operatives..... Remembered when top army inlaw was held hostage..... The only access was via boat, the turning and turning and turning before getting there will make you reconsider your life choices..... If miss just one turn you headed into the ocean.....

Wish they would consulted retired officers with experience in those areas...... Sometimes been a security operatives isn't all about muscle and firepower.....

What has happened is condemnable but the same has happened time without numbers in the north but we haven't seen any response like this. The military is only active when the south is involved. Audacity my foot.

When did that happen and what is the village name?
Note, there is no village called "the North".

If you are referring to bandits, they have no village, they are nomadic raiders who resides in the forest.
Even at that, there was a recent revenge drone strike on a Kaduna village.

If you are still in doubt go and read Amnesty International report about the Boko haram war.
Whether in the North or South, the Nigerian army uses crude collective punishment methods
when on revenge mission.

so bandits have no village or home but anytime they are caught the Northern Muslims come to their aid to free them. Bandits are Nigerians, they have villages and they are known to Northerners.

The army will be the losers in this game, because they allowed Religious and Political extremists in the North to control and infiltrate them.

Unfortunately, that's what's will happen, I remember the Odi, Bayelsa State incident very well. The entire community was flattened by the soldiers.....the real culprits usually escape before the reprisals sad angry angry angry angry

And what was the consequence for Nigeria? Do you think they will like a repeat at this time? You all should stop glorifying rubbish.

The fight the soldiers went to quell is in a community . The soldiers died in the hands of some people in that community. They better hand over all of them or mention their names or they will be partakers of what is to come

what is to come?

from what you are saying, you are saying "some people" but earlier you claimed it was a community that killed the soldiers

So if a person from Edo commits crime in Abuja forest.
The army should go and attack his village in Edo?

Please people have died no need for that comparison. Also communities don’t just stand up and kill soldiers in the north . Terrorists and kidnappers do . There is a difference . If it is found out that the community really did that , then the culprits and ALL their supporters should be shot dead !

so the bandits and kidnappers that kill soldiers in the north don't have communities?

this is a dumb response.

Army is not a revenue generating body, they live on tax payers. If you say army does not answer to Nigerians then you need to upgrade your reasoning standard "lil bro". because what you just wrote means Army is not accountable to Nigerians and I believe it's coming from shear ignorance.

Even the president is accountable to Nigerians how much a soldier.

There's always people, especially emergency lovers of Nigeria and followers of the failed Peter Obi, ready to defend any wrong against the country and people working for the country. This level of unpatriotism is beyond me. What happened to our pledge to defend her unity and uphold her honour and glory?

What energy? Are villagers killing peace keeping soldiers in the North? What brings location into the question BTW? Why do you want to defend criminals based on whether they are in the North, South, East or West?

People who cut more than 20 soldiers like suya are definitely prepared for anything that will come out. There are a lot of gun factories there and many youths there don’t have any job, so many of them are armed. The last time they did arms mop up was during the amnesty program under Jonathan. They willingly surrendered because Jonathan is their own and used oronto Douglas and co to make them surrender arms. The number of youths carrying arms today there is now even more than when Jonathan brought peace. Mobil oil and other multi nationals saw there was no hope and left, shell waited and saw who was announced as winner of 2023 elections and packed their bags too… Imagine yourself as a Nigerian soldier in a battalion of about 100 other soldiers walk into an ambush in the creek of 250 boys armed with guns. Do you think you can outgun your way out or come out of it alive that day? No you won’t, but you will witness your own death with your eyes hours before you die
So Niger delta armed youths r stronger dan Nigeria army abi? Next few weeks will tell us d truth. No mata who ur just pray make govtment nor get yr time.
