What energy? Are villagers killing peace keeping soldiers in the North? What brings location into the question BTW? Why do you want to defend criminals based on whether they are in the North, South, East or West?
When has militants turned to villagers? Villagers now own guns? We all know there militants in those creeks involved in oil bunkering. Infact this could be an oil deal gone wrong but them know say nigerians no dey use think critically and will believe any story

I wonder when the army started settling land dispute between two communities in this country.

There's something they're not telling us

they went to collect their own share of oil bunkery money from "boys" grin
boys no gree give Dem shi shi

And to serve as a deterrent for others not to come into the community for the same levy, boys had to do what they had to do

Na e army con change the story say their personnel went for "peace keeping" mission between the warring communities grin

Says the Constitution! Classified information is not to be leaked to the public! In fact, it is a felony to do such!

this is a dumb response.

Army is not a revenue generating body, they live on tax payers. If you say army does not answer to Nigerians then you need to upgrade your reasoning standard "lil bro". because what you just wrote means Army is not accountable to Nigerians and I believe it's coming from shear ignorance.

Even the president is accountable to Nigerians how much a soldier.

I'm saying whatever mission they were on is classified and the public does not have the right to classified information until it is declassified.....This is not up for argument and it is ignorant to think otherwise! Face it, many topics are beyond your need to know and the sooner you accept this reality, the better!

So if a person from Edo commits crime in Abuja forest.
The army should go and attack his village in Edo?

Bello Turji is a known bandit from Zamfara state that have killed both soldiers and other security personnel. There are many others like him known in the North. sometime last year, 32 soldiers were killed in Niger state, their aircraft gunned down. Niger state communities knows where these criminals hide in the bush, even the army knows but they did nothing.

How are you sure the guys that killed these soldiers in Delta are from Delta state too? For too long, the military has shown no commitment in wiping off bandits and terrorists in our bushes, instead they join fulani herdsmen to commit attrocities against communities in Benue and other areas down south.

No RIP to waste for soldiers, even if they are southern soldiers too. Nigerian Army is both infiltrated by terrorists and also a weak outfit

People who cut more than 20 soldiers like suya are definitely prepared for anything that will come out. There are a lot of gun factories there and many youths there don’t have any job, so many of them are armed. The last time they did arms mop up was during the amnesty program under Jonathan. They willingly surrendered because Jonathan is their own and used oronto Douglas and co to make them surrender arms. The number of youths carrying arms today there is now even more than when Jonathan brought peace. Mobil oil and other multi nationals saw there was no hope and left, shell waited and saw who was announced as winner of 2023 elections and packed their bags too… Imagine yourself as a Nigerian soldier in a battalion of about 100 other soldiers walk into an ambush in the creek of 250 boys armed with guns. Do you think you can outgun your way out or come out of it alive that day? No you won’t, but you will witness your own death with your eyes hours before you die
The army are being lenient here..it doesn't take them anything to wipe out the entire perimeter of where this happened cos its going to be a small scale war..with air support/water support and guerilla warfare..I just pity innocent citizens..ask obj wat he did to that community when dey tried it some yrs ago. Xc

I'm not in support of the killing of 14 Nigeria soldiers, But in bornu state makele barrack over 118 soldiers where killed by Boko haram, until this moment nobody was arrested, so while going after the innocent citizens, Do you know how many innocent souls that the soldiers has killed the end sars massacre killing unharmed citizens.. the general should call his boys to order to avoid crisis in delta state

How important is this person that army sent over 16 soldiers including captains and majors to rescue

There are lots of questions begin for answers, however the action of the Felton youths is unacceptable

But the army should also Channel this same energy towards bandits and boko haram

Don't worry, the answers will be begging for questions soon

But delta youths really had the audacity to massacre soldiers on peace mission.

This is why people should not tolerate and support criminals in their domain, they will later turn to monsters and bring unimaginable disaster to all and sundry, No development will come to such place as well

Rest in peace to our gallant soldiers and officers.
Nobody is supporting any criminal. There cre criminals all over the world not only in the se. The issue is why are they not also invading other villages in the north. If its the norm then no one will complain if they also invade a village in the se

If the Army bring half of the weapons in the North, into the South, we will cry to UN that same week.

There are some weapons that USA sold to Nigeria during Buhari's time, and they made Nigeria Government promise not to take bring it to the South.

The army have ransacked The north. The north is a war zone. It is not all operation that the Army is conducting that the Army will tell you.

There is no where in the world that you attack Soldiers, behead them and then mutilate them, without a response coming after.

The way they want to respond is no one's business. If the whole community is guilty and they do not want to help the Soldiers to fish the culprits out, then the soldiers will have to that own their own. (This was the case of Odi during Obasanjo's time).

But during Buhari's time, and there was operation python dance in the East, the people the those community helped the soldiers to fish culprits out, so operation python dance ended before it started.

What I am saying is, you are not the one that will decide how the army respond.

If there is no response, anarchist in the country will see this as a sign of weakness, and do more arson.

Without the Nigerian Army, there won't be Nigeria, and we won't sleep with our eyes closed.

GOD BLESS AND CONTINUE TO KEEP THE NIGERIAN ARMY!

When boko infiltrated the NDA and kidnapped soldiers, did they say this? That one was even worse than this. Imagine infiltrating the number military institution in the country and kidnap officers. The audacity!

Don't mind these idiots, my problem with these people is that they can defend anything APC and their government, Muslim terrorists which good majority of these soldiers are part of; worst scenarios have happened in the north and till today it was sealed off, they only have liver when it comes to south, especially south east. Good percentage of soldiers in the south are northerners with their stupid quest for domination and power; that's why they've been kicking against state police bill, useless people everywhere. I thought by now they'll be buying everything cheaper than the south east and south south, nonsense!

If you are referring to bandits, they have no village, they are nomadic raiders who resides in the forest.
Even at that, there was a recent revenge drone strike on a Kaduna village.

If it is the latter, how is that the fault of the army?
Is there any criminal that doesn't have civillian allies?

Do you suggest that the army starts torturing every member of the community until one of them breaks?
If that happen, do you think Turji would be stupid as to stay in one place?

The fact that you think Turji have a permanent base shows your limited knowledge of the bandits war.

Omo, this Niger Delta guys get mind ohhh....
Only the training Army go through to become a soldaire is enough to respect them.

But I am happy.

This is a call for the Army to end what so ever business , Politics or friendship that have made people not to fear their Uniform again.

They should wake up show their Devil which they are trained for!

How will they even kill Army like common cult boys or criminals.

Kaiiii Nigerian Army are sleeping.
They need to wake up and light up who so ever that cross their boundary.

Delta and South South, get ready for consumption. I advise every civilian who are innocent there to mind where they go and stay indoors when they have no business out.

I doubt if the President will calm the Army down, because only the President been the 5star General and the Grand commander of the Federal Republic can talk to the HQ to call them to order.

But for me, I will Advise Tinubu to leave the Army to consume every bloody civilian who cross or have crossed their boundary let the Army light them up day and Night.

We can't take this, Army shouldn't be treated lime common cultist....

I doubt it boss.... Federal government always have the upper hand in those oil bunkering..... Nothing will promote the militant to take lives of soldiers on that ground..... Most likely is that I have mentioned.... Because what's so special about the so called youth.... He must be of value....

Also when a cover have been blown it's instant death..... It's why I hate when Hollywood glorifies espionage like spies are hot cake....

The killing of the so called youth is a strong message of deterrence.....

Also I believe the group involved in the ambush are trying to set the entire creek on fire..... That's trying to drag the government into conflict cuz they see an opportunity and they feel hes not as strong as buhari
