Righteousness isn't faith and faith isn't righteousness though. So wetin be the focus for here abeg! Righteousness or faith? Also, without a clear unambiguous definition for either, all you have is religion and nothing of God. Religion thrives on that ambiguity of terms and those caught in its trap remain confused preys for as long as is necessary.

You are missing the point clearly.

For faith to function righteousness must be intact. Without a righteous foundation you cannot even attempt application of faith to a situation.

Your faith only gets strengthened by your obedience to God (all) other instructions. So, you see. You need to be righteous to use faith well.

I believe you have it the other way around. Jesus Christ said to seek first the Kingdom of God(Holiness) followed by God's Righteousness... meaning that It is instead Righteousness that requires faith to be first intact and functioning.

2. Yes, you must! As Jesus Christ said, one must obtain God's righteousness before one can be able to have faith that is of meaningful value. However, as Jesus Christ equally made clear, faith must be in tact before all that can be achieved.

1. So, am I to take it that when God of Israel — YHWH— declared in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 that the Law(which includes the 10 commandments)through Moses to the children of Israel benefited only those of them in the Land of Canaan, He was mistaken?

YHWH had no notion that His Law had to equally apply to Nigerians living in Nigeria. YHWH chose to wrong words when sealing His agreement with the descendants of Israel in the Land of Canaan. Is that it?
